Are you watching the same game? The ball has come into his feet several times and he’s instantly been knocked off the ball or controls it poorly. Let’s not even talk about his heading ability because it’s Campbellesque at best. I am I just don't have it in for him with any strange hope that he fails so people are proved right. You can’t argue with what’s right in front of your face 🤷♂️

Hope he proves me wrong but he just seems to jog about puts a half hearted sprint in when he knows he’s not getting the ball. Without Koumas has a outlet we’d be buggered. What do you expect of him though? He's never been a headless chicken and that's fine, he hasn't really seen much of the ball but he's been in good positions when then balls been put in the box. I expect him to be a threat? He’s a striker or supposed to be.

Still look shaky at the back. Junior doing well. Phillips hit and miss. In midfield Sidibe caught out of position quite a bit, but can certainly pick a pass. Burger not involved enough for me. Overall ok but a few too many passengers. Burger has had as many touches as Moran or Sidibe.

I'd rest Koumas at half time, we're going need his energy next few games

Burger is so indisciplined positionally. Constantly leaving a gap and following the ball. Just hold your position on the left of the three He’s been poor for me again. I don’t know why we are playing sol as the sitting midfielder. It seems it’s meant to be interchangeable but burger just can’t hold a position.

We’ve essentially 3 days to find a new owner for Mmaee, because if he is our main striker, we mays well pack up now.

Are our full backs under instructions to play close to the centre backs? We are leaving soooo much space out wide. I know, it drives me absolutely mad and happens all the time.

Positives: Phillips looks potentially very good. Dixon getting more minutes can only be a good thing. Great goal well taken - could have got one more maybe. Keeper looked much better. Negatives: They are better at football than us and might well have equalised a few times. Mmaee needs minutes Given the line up, that's it.

Burger's first touch is absolutely appalling for a professional footballer!

Philips, Tchamadeu, Dixon, Burger have played well. Tezgel seems to be a decent finisher. Koumas is fast and dangerous.

Started off very brightly, but tailored off towards the end.
Need to get hold of the ball more.
Viktor, Junior, Koumas the stand out players for me.
We’ll do well to keep them out for another 45 mins.

Half time take..
Good performance by the keeper We're wide open defensively Bocat needs to keep it simple Phillips is very raw.. needs to learn quick Moran's weight of pass is excellent, can tell he's a good footballer. Koumas is our biggest threat by a mile Tezgel took his goal well but missed a sitter too

Goal aside and the move for Tezgels chance straight after, we've been dreadful again. No pattern of play, wide open at the back against what is very much a second string Boro side.

What has happened to Burger? Head turned? I think he's been defensively rather good today, but his passing is a bit suspect.

Decent first half but Mmaee just doesn’t suit our style. He’s just not willing to chase and try to make things happen. Sidibe playing well and Junior much improved. Phillips looks decent but has the feel of a pre season friendly. Moran looks a clever player who can see a pass.

Interesting how we all seem to be watching different games
Mmaee getting slated but he's had nothing
Overall we need to get on the ball more, Boro dominated possession the more the half went on
When we do get on the ball we look like we can in behind them out wide

Tchamadu gets dragged inside far too easily, he leaves tons of space out wide. Funny that the defender on the other flank does exactly the same, wonder if they're following instructions by any chance. The whole system is fucking weird if you ask me. You've got Moran and Burger often in advance of Tezgel and Koumas but Tezgel in particular almost constantly. I just can't see any logic in it, just play Burger with a starting position more level with Sidibe and take some of that defensive responsibility from the alleged wide forwards. Let players play in areas where their attributes are put to best use.

Great we got a goal, but since then we appear to be happy to sit, that is scary. Vicar I expect will be targeted cus they have a useful fella out that side. It’s not ( date I say it) a pulis sit in it moment cus if we did want do that then hire the man as a defence coach. Think the phrase has something to do with a tin hat.
