Go with the 11 that started at Boro.
Winning 5-0, they all earned the right to start!!

I'd rather they get home, couple of night with their families and head off on Friday morning, it will be about 4 hours on a coach that's all. Always used to train it for long journey away matches, then the official coach collects them from the station & takes them to the booked local hotel. Flight to Exeter and then a 45min journey to outskirts of Plymouth would be best option & cut our fair amount of travelling time, & risk of getting stuck on the M5 at its numerous hold up locations. At least it's International Break for vast majority straight afterwards, not usually a fan of them but think the squad deserve it after the week of matches and traveling they've had this last 7x days By the time you'd got to an airport, checked in etc you'd nearly be at Plymouth. I was sad enough to check the train times before my original post and that was over 4 hours with a change at Brum

I checked flights as well, don't think any of the local airports fly to Exeter either! Sounds like coach it is 😉🤣.. Would expect it to be free, with no alcohol or unsealed bottles of course 😆

Think it will be tough, would be great to shove it up Rooney though. Each to their own. Some people are into Henry the Eighth lookalikes.

Not many in the cup game will play against Plymouth unfortunately.
A new loss ...

I was sad enough to check the train times before my original post and that was over 4 hours with a change at Brum When we last played Plymouth away in December we happened to be staying in the same hotel in Plymouth as the team and I was talking to the Stoke coach driver whilst the team were getting on the coach to go to the ground and he said they'd travelled down by train on the Friday, and after the game he was taking them back in the coach to Plymouth station for them to get the train back. That was literally a few days before Alex Neil was sacked and of course Schuey may want to do things differently this time.

Rooney wont last long as Plymouth manager you would have to think.
No excuses to not give this game a really good go and be a comfortable 2- 0 win..

Football for me these days is more about a good day out and even a weekend away than letting my week get ruined by 90 minutes and as far as away games go Plymouth Argyle on a Saturday in August is as good as it gets.
I hope we stuff them but equally I hope Argyle can stay up and we get to do it again next season unless of course it’s us that get relegated or even more unlikely, promoted!

Looking forward to it, only been that part of the country once in my life.
Up at 0430 on Saturday is a bit of a bastard but staying over in Plymouth for the night. Think we're going The Britannia Inn before the game which is by the ground as it was listed as an away fans pub.

Britannia will definitely have lots of home fans in as it’s the nearest pub to the ground. You’re better off heading to Mutley Plain. Lots of pubs and about 20 minutes walk to the away end via the Ivor Dewdney pasty van parked at the Barn Park Rd entrance to Central Park. BM

Get in for 12.30ish. No problem.
