He brings to the team what he did when he put Koumas through first half when he hit the post. Unfortunately those moments are too few and far between…….

Serious question. For me, he offers nothing. He goes missing for large periods, and often takes the easy way out (drops deep and plays a simple 6 yard pass back etc). Hes never looking to have a positive impact on the game. Its almost cowardly at times. All the others on the field you can argue what you want - good, bad, indifferent. But Laurent is just a nothing player. We need somebody who can put their stamp on the game. And don't even get me started on Baker's cameo in midfield. If that wasn't a two fingered salute to the club and the fans as a final farewell, then I'll eat my hat. He was basically just booting the ball away and making no effort whatsoever. Disgraceful. There's a big week ahead. We need to root out some very bad apples, and get 2 or 3 key players in. Or another relagation battle will be on our hands. Simple as that. Thank the lord for Koumas. A little green shoot of positivity in a field of shit. Fuck me let’s all pick on Laurent he certainly wasn’t the worst one today and you could say that about most of our players today

We need a streetwise, aggressive and experienced midfield general, Laurant simply has to go..

Brought nothing to the table today.
The full truthful picture is he brings 5 good performances out of 46.

Laurent is anonymous unless he plays along side Baker that was obvious last season.

When he's on his game as a box to box midfielder there aren't many better in this league. Trouble is he's rarely on his game and when he's played as a deep lying midfield player like today he's awful. He was deeper than both Wilmot and Gibson today, ridiculous.

He brings to the team what he did when he put Koumas through first half when he hit the post. Unfortunately those moments are too few and far between……. Koumas was screaming at him and pointing where he wanted the ball, after his customary 3 second goldfish delay in passing Josh figured out the pass. He is so laboured in possession.

Throughout he played at times right back, centre of defence and played alongside Thompson as two deep central midfield players making 10 yard sideways passes to each other.

Josh was not the worst today .
Thompson and defence for their goals
Baker should have been on from the start...What's up with Schumacher and Lewis ???

Nothing, he's always been pretty useless but then he pops up with a decent performance and a lot get hoodwinked.
I really hope our starting midfield looks completely different once everyone's fit and settled.

He waited so long that I’m sure Koumas was offside and we were lucky the linesman that side didn’t seem to know the rule.

We’ve all played with players like him haven’t we….ingratiate themselves with the manager, got all the talk but don’t walk the walk, give it the big “I am” but arent particularly very good, but they know most of their managers don’t have the balls to say so.

His dinner?
And he'd struggle to tackle that.
Was very good against Coventry but he is a 1 in 10 player.Should be an absolute beast but plays like a mouse mostly .
The fact that he has been virtual ever present for his 3 seasons here so far sums us up nicely.

He seems like the first name on the team sheet but his performances really don’t merit that. Our midfield is a dogs dinner! Once again we have a coach who doesn’t know his arse from his elbow!
