I went armed with my season ticket for the first time this season and really enjoyed the walk around the ground. Great changes! By the time I was in my seat I was feeling great. The remainder of the afternoon was a complete contrast. I sat in amongst a cess pool of angry vociferous "supporters" who disected the minutia of every move and filled the air with anger and foul language. They showed quite clearly their lack of understanding of the game.
I wasn't happy with some of our approach to a difficult match but there were certain aspects of the game that gave me real hope for our future. For the first time in a long long while we had signs of a cutting edge. West Brom are a powerful team and with more luck could have had three more goals. Koumas is only here for one season but what a gem!
The same can be said of Junho. Sadly I won't be going again. Not because of the team because I believe they will come good. I just cannot sit amongst that block of morons again.

You could move your seat?
You could simply acknowledge those that were complaining had a point?
You could acknowledge the history? Why people were so upset with another poor start? I think it's 8 more losses and we can forget the hopeful ambitions of the playoffs? Losing 2 from 3 suggests we are right in the mess no matter how early it may be. 8-9 years of very very poor form, one of the worst win records and goal deficits in the football league in the last 10 years, and you think people will be positive and happy?
Culture changes takes time, but if we look at the managers goals and ambitions? To stay in the league? Fucking really? I think we are up there with the highest spenders and wages still? At the very least top 8

I have grown up in football all my life and possess quite an extensive vocabulary of swearing words which I have used extensively in appropriate places to good affect but NEVER amongst my own or other children or females for that matter. I know what to expect at a football match! Shame you don't know what to expect at a Netball match. Somewhere a line has to be drawn! |

We didn't evolve from Neanderthals but we share a very recent common ancestor that would've looked something like Lynden Gooch. |
