I never look at the table until end of September. Teething issues - calm down all it’s still August ffs. How has that been going for you for the last 8 years? That's like not looking at your bank balance for half a year because you are afraid of the truth. 🤷♂️. I think it says a lot going forward. What I wouldn't give for a positive half a season only to tail off... And just miss out on playoffs, or end up in the top 10. It isn't that much to ask for given how much we spend, but it's seemingly beyond the setup of the club, it's owners, and those employed including players managers coaches etc. It’s been going fine for the last 50 plus years thank you.

Early days. Things will settle down after the window closes and the international break. I’m still fairly relaxed as it stands…. Have you a booze problem? I could do the obvious pun but I can’t be arsed. It’s just too early for all the pant wetting.

A positive 45 mins at home to Coventry. Then two abject performances to follow. Are we on the road to nowhere again? We have played 3 teams that are expected to finish near the top Not sure on that. Nobody had Watford finishing above about 17th, and West Brom are now just a middle-of-the-road budget club with a few legacy big money contracts, now in cheap-punts-from-obscure-leagues territory- with the advantage of having a very good manager that means they punch above their weight. I really am so despondent after sitting through that. They didn't have to get out of second gear after they scored the second.

A fit Junho and Burger, and Gallagher and Lawal making a positive impact, then you never know. As disheartening it is to see the away crowd celebrating the full time whistle yet again, it’s still too far too early to write the season off. Thought I was joking by suggesting we need 10 new players but perhaps I was being realistic.

No need to panic Very early days I can see the glory that is soon to fill us all with light and joy Well, most of us. This board has some hard core, depressive, pessimistic so and so's 🖖🏾

And my mood's not helped after listening to a second successive nonsense interview from Schumacher claiming we deserved something. Hopefully I'll calm down in a minute, but for some reason this defeat has annoyed me more than any for ages.

It’s the cumulative effect of several years of going through the process of convincing yourself there are reasons to be hopeful in pre-season, only to see it dissipate before we’re even out of effing August.

And to be fair, for as awful as we were, we could have taken at least a point with the 2 great chances we did create after going 2-1 down. But the overall performance was so poor. We just seem to lack footballing nous or intelligence in so many areas. We never seem to do the simple things right. We let situations get away from us. There doesn't appear to be any cohesion or professionalism at times. Just very poor at the very basics of the game at times. It's a head scratcher.

I'm at a beer festival but I'm only going off the fact they have a decent team and we lost 2.1. I will watch the highlights tomorrow. It's not like you to be this angry though so I believe the performance must be bad

What today showed was that we are far too passive and can't compete with physical teams. I'm hoping that once Bosun is fit he will bring some physicality. On the plus side, Koumas handled the physical challenges really well and looked far too good for this league. I thought he looked much better centrally than wide so I'm of the opinion we play Junho on the left and him just behind a new striker.

I thought it was an even game, but we gave away two easy goals and really should at least have scored one more! WBA will probably be top 6 again too. I thought they looked comfortable and hardly got out of second gear. They did when we equalised and then immediately scored again. Men against boys, we look far too weak. Did they allow us to get through and hit the post then, that was part of their comfortable plan?

10th to 18th on same 3 points, we are 17th on goal difference. Far too early to panic. Let's see where we are after 12 games which is just over a quarter of the season.

We get by-passed for fun in midfield (and have for a few seasons).. We need a physical presence in the middle. Thought Burger was answer to our prayers at first but has turned into a right powder puff wazzak. I think "leader" gets overused at times but we need someone to control, inspire, cajole, orchestrate and grip the game by it's bollocks. Dream on.

Despite any other posts I've made - this is spot on accurate. "We get bypassed for fun in midfield" I'm to the point that I want to see one of our players clothesline somebody ffs.
