It can't come as any suprise surely.
Lots of the same players who were poor last season and our best player not playing plus both 1st team forwards being injured it's no surprise.

Two league games. Two! If we’d drawn last week against Coventry, a side tipped to do well again this season, and drawn this afternoon, most fans would be happy. That’s with 2pts, we’ve got 3. Not the point it's how we played. We were dogshit today. Nothing has changed basis that. And worse still the GK position which I'm told is solved and My fears are unfounded had a shocker. And if he played like peak Gordon Banks every week he wouldn’t have signed for Stoke.

Poor result.. but…most of the side that started won’t be doing soon.
How much longer can we persist with players who have been playing through years of abject failure??
We’ve got to get some more pace in the side.

Stop the goals getting in would be the first priority and that starts with a decent keeper not one who's first thought to every shot is to palm it out To be fair, today's drubbing follows on from 5 straight clean sheets ssshhh dont tell them that

Bloody nuts that we haven’t got a striker in. Nuts that we’re considering Laurent again Nuts we play Thompson who has never been good enough Say it's bloody nuts at the end of the window

Putting my positive hat on (and conveniently forgetting the dreadful second half), I thought we were pretty decent in the first half.
We looked to be on the front foot, and we had a decent amount of success down our right hand side.
We can't really come to any conclusions until everyone is fit and we've finished our transfer business.

I don't think it's a matter of the points....it's the manner of the defeat and how easy it was that disappoints.

The full backs look short so far, we have no firepower or pace. We've got so much work to do this next two weeks.

That might still be a top half side but it's never one that's going to be competing at the top of the table, they bullied us. I'm fine with 12th by the way, but I never like seeing us get turned over 3-0.

They had pace and power, we didn't. What is even more worrying about that is Schumacher actually commented in interview before the game that they were a very good side with pace and power and we have to deal with that. You are absolutely right, we needed to match it and currently we have no hope whatsoever of doing that.
