It's that first 20mins that gets you hooked then the plodders show their real mettle usually around the half, or just afterwards like today. Comical how often and to type it is really.

Conceding 2 goals straight after ht is unacceptable. Thought first half it looked like 2 ordinary teams. We simply don’t create enough, and like some of the players looked very lazy to me. Let’s see what we look like once the window shuts, hopefully a few more in and we’ll look a bit better

On target for points target for opening set of games so less than 4 from the first 2 , wonder what it’ is to the international break as we’ve now 3 away games league and cup after the wba game id take 6 points by the break suspect the target is 7 or 8 . |

2 poor parries from V.Johansson but Watford were allowed an eye watering 24 shots on our goal, that's 1 shot every 4 minutes.
S.Schumacher is asking us not to panic, but we looked second best by such a distance that I'm afraid I already have.

I feel the keeper is going to cost us a LOT of goals this season, while looking 'decent' Every shot on that clip he parried back into play , twice costing goals and the 3rd goal he was trying the same. he doesent parry out for a corner or out wide, or heaven forbid catch the ball. very quickly opponents are going to see that all they need to do is get bodies in the box and then shoot from anywhere. the keeper will give those in the box the ball sad times ahead  |

Coming late to the game here. I was only able to watch the first half and I thought we were decent and worth a point. What a disaster the second half though. All the good thoughts from the Coventry game demolished in 45 minutes. How Shuey can have thought there were some good things about our play is a mystery, They ran riot over us. If something similar happens on Saturday the knives are going to be out big time.
