If pink is blending in with green you must suffer with severe colourblindness!
Two very different colours lol

Is colour blindness associated with old age? Thought you either had it or not?

It's the marmite strip. I'm not a fan of it myself but that's just my view.

I struggled on Saturday telling the two teams apart with Coventry's blue and white stripes (I'm red-green colourblind)
If you ever get the chance to try out those colour correcting glasses it blows your mind to see what our strip actually looks like to "normal" people

If pink is blending in with green you must suffer with severe colourblindness! Two very different colours lol There are different types of colour blindness, and it should be taken much more seriously. There's a simulator here: www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-simulator/Matt Holland is colour blind and said depending on the strips of his team and the opposition, sometimes it'd take him longer to decide on a pass because he couldn't clearly pick out his teammates. I saw another footballer say being colour blind is taboo in football because it's seen as a weakness. This was from a match a couple of years ago: Can you post it side by side with the original? View AttachmentThe original is on the right for anyone who has the types of colour blindness affected by the strip colours.

I made a ref change his top when his bright green top clashed with our yellow top.

If pink is blending in with green you must suffer with severe colourblindness! Two very different colours lol Pink and green can be almost identical in terms of tone and hue and be more confusing, say, to Chelsea in dark blue playing Man City in pale blue.

It's the marmite strip. I'm not a fan of it myself but that's just my view. Imagine a true Marmite strip; all brown with yellow shoulders / top section of the shirt and sponsored by Unilever. Ironically, it would be anything but a Marmite strip as nobody would like it.

Probably make the actual Marmite logo smaller on a football shirt though.

I had to ask my mrs the other night what colour our kit was as I have no idea. Also ref pink and green being a problem. Last month I bought 3 pairs of pink reading glasses that I genuinely thought were green.

Last month I bought 3 pairs of pink reading glasses that I genuinely thought were green. Unfortunate error made often. The colour spectrum as perceived through human eyes can often confuse pink and green. It's interesting how insects can spot pink flowers from a good distance, because they have a different receptive gamut to the spectrum, being able to see ultra violet at which point, pink is massively different to green. It's why bees don't attempt to pollinate grass and why you rarely if ever see green flowers. p..s I'd give the pink glasses a go, its an ace colour.

The shirt seems to be a different shade of pink to the shorts and socks.
The shirt is 'hot pink' and the shorts and socks more 'peach melba'.
I think that's because the shirt looks like Jackson Pollock got is hands on it and threw every shade of pink in the book at it. Conversely the shorts and socks are a uniform colour.
I've yet to make up my mind if the whole ensemble is so bad its good!?
