Some of you may have heard Paul Baker being interviewed on the Lee Blakeman Radio Stoke show this morning? His parents met each other in Cobridge during World War II, hence the local connection. His band, Daniel Takes a Train, are trying to top the heritage chart, this chart is for bands who were formed before the year 2000 and they’re at number nine at the moment, even ahead of Coldplay! If you go onto the website and click on his song, Sleeping With the Enemy, currently at number nine and then scroll down and submit he would be extremely happy!!

The song has a light Ska sound with a bit of an 80s vibe as well!

Lead singer's parents were from Cobridge. (his grandad kept the 'Black Boy' pub opposite what is now Fessy Park) They're trying to get to the top of the heritage chart (purely for bands who were formed pre-2000) They're number 9 in their chart at mo. (even ahead of Coldplay!) He was on Radio Stoke this AM, they (just about) beat DJ Lee on the music mastermind quiz, last minute answer (The Libertines) won it for them - on Radio Stoke again tomorrow Tuesday as well as Wednesday - approx 9:15-9:20 AM
