For what it’s worth, I like it for the most part.
I think with things like this, and it’s the same with, I don’t know, leaving the European Union, the folk that fall in the get rid camp are much more vocal than the keep in place camp.
Keeping with Brexit, let’s reform it rather than tear it up.

All for it if used differently.
We shouldn't be looking to rule goals out for slight infringements.
Offside decisions taking seconds. There is no in-between with offside, you're off or not if we're using proper, automated technology.
The handball rule is the biggest sticking point. Is the rule needs looking at.

It would be ok if it was implemented as it was intended, ie clear errors,a toe offside is a clear error.
Also it should be like rugby and explained by the referee what is going on.
Also it should be instigated by the referee and only the referee.
I would change back the offside law and if not at least flag immediately

Some years ago the offside rule was relaxed to give the benefit of the doubt to the attacker to create more entertainment. Now we’re all discussing whether a players knee/hand or big toe places them into an offside position. Forwards playing at a hell of a pace, split second timing and moving in a natural forward movement…………IMHO…….Crazy |
