Yeah they put him in a hotel full of illegal immigrants apparently opposite Stoke station in case they needed to send him back to Kawasaki if the Laurent deal fell through. We had some fool a few weeks ago who wouldn't let a daft joke about Junho go .
Walters used his connections perhaps to get us 2 young players with potential from the Irish squad, I doubt are his mates to be fair but he was such a respected player with ROI it certainly may have helped and we beat off a lot of competition for Cannon it seems.
I think we've had a really good window and when all available can compete with the best at the this level perhaps and get a decent finish at last.

Is this confirmed? He’s 27 and not got a Japan cap yet…? I love that this writes him off for some people, like Japan are San Marino. They're 18th in the world rankings. We've got plenty of players not making their (much worse) national squads. USA are 16th. For whom Brek Shea has 35 caps. |
