Yeah, Schuey and him seemed to have a very brief, cordial chat after the game in January. He'll definitely be aware of his Exeter spell being based in Devon.
And a reliable Birmingham journo said we were in for him in January. So the clues are all there

I think he said trying hard for Ugbo. Not 100% sure it was Chopper though. He did say we were "trying hard" on July 22nd Trying hard to get stansfield, Celtic midfielder very close. Sheff wed striker close. Been working on him and Lawal for months. Stansfields options have been mad though, he’s been waiting on a premier league team. But we’ve gone all out on him. |

Thought he was quality against us for Birmingham last year - would be really happy with this coming off. You’d think he wouldn’t get many starts if he got a Premier League move so hopefully we can persuade him we are the right Championship team to join.
