Myself and the Mrs came over for the match from Dublin. While we were in the airport yesterday our flight was cancelled and we had to fork out 400 euros to get a Ryanair to Birmingham, back in Birmingham airport now and our flight is delayed by at least 3 hours.Well worth all the hassle to see us win and breaks a bit of jinx I have been for a while.

With a 3 hour delay, you'll be able get compensation and then spend that on another flight over and go through it all again. It's amazing how a win can make the world a brighter place.

With the games being 12:30 now it gives me chance to get up for a few games and get back down in time to go work. The 3pm kick offs didn't allow that.
Fully intend on bringing the missus for her first English football match as well. Although i'll have to spend the whole journey up here hammering home to her not to call it "soccer" infront of the stokies 🤣

Are Lingus have one of the best hit rates for going out on time in recent studies. Went to NYC with them just a couple of weeks back and never had a problem with them in all the years but it happens I guess. I did miss the rudeness of BA cabin crew though ...

Yeah i'm not someone who gets annoyed when it gets called soccer.
But I know a hell of a lot of people are. With my missus being American it's natural for her to call it that. Determined to get her to a Stoke game so that should be interesting 😅. As mentioned the 12:30 kick offs will now give me the chance to get up to Stoke which will be nice.

I like to be in the front row at the corner flag, which was where Baker headed after scoring.

We were in the departure lounge with bags checked in and through security Took 3hrs to retrieve the luggage and we had to go home and go back the next day as they wouldn’t put us up in a hotel and we had a baby with us also There was no aer lingus desk so we had to ring them and they really couldn’t give a fuck whilst trying to explain
