So, I’ve got to say first that I always did like Dolly Parton. I think she’s always come across as a decent human being. However, one thing I didn’t know was that she set up a foundation to provide free books to children in countries around the World, including the UK. The details are here: imaginationlibrary.com/. I’ve got to say, I can’t think of a more wholesome thing to do than to provide free books to children every month. If you have children, sign up! She's Godmother to Miley Cyrus isn't she? Pretty good role model to have close to you whilst growing up as a child star in a seemingly toxic/dysfunctional family.

Used to think Coat of Many Colours was cheesy shit then saw interviews with her along with the work she does for the community and now think it's an absolute banger. I remember her on a chat show with a young Harry Enfield and she was great- possibly Aspel. Not one of those guests who have to make it all about her like the will Smith types who have to interrupt anyone getting the spotlight. The only person really seen do that since was John Malkovic in that great interview with Aisling Bea on Graham Norton. Let them talk and was interested in what they were saying despite being the superstar name. She genuinely loved Harry Enfield's humour
Not a music person at all , in fact don't own any but could listen to her talking all day

When I got a new car couldn't work out how favourite radio stations so typically just kept it around Absolute Radio and skipped between them.
