Weird company to have kept. Not really uncommon was it. Todays footballers are massively boring and sanitised by comparison. probably the polar opposite of our fascination with DNA. Talented Mavericks were an essential part of the game. |

It's on a par with George Best wasted his talent. Don't like the bloke at all. Tried to invite himself to a couple of our events and we refused, even tried to join our table at an event once and was a bit surprised when not welcome . He'll always find someone to mooch of in the bar and spent his after career doing that . Brought it all on himself Blames everyone else but himself for his situation. Tried to sit at our table next to a young lady at Trentham Gardens one night which was full of ooen wine and champagne bottles etc and made a proposition to her 😁 Let's do lunch one time Let's not Was basically the conversation Didn't prevent him from coming back again later and same response Had similar from him at 2 Sportsman's dinners we organised. He eventually found 2 fellas willing to provide him with drink all night at one of them. |
