We also 100% met Yevhen Konoplyanka's representatives over in Geneva with a view to signing him, not sure what happened in the end but both would have been statement signings......

I seem to remember that the owner of Yarmolenko's club said he wasn't prepared to sell to a club of Stoke's pedigree no matter what money we offered. |

I can't be doing with this bloke, the infiltration of his company via Mark Cartwright into our football club was the beginning of the end.
It is sad to see it continues to happen at other clubs, see Huddersfield.

Wasn't Yarmelenko or the other guy owned by third parties and at the time it was allowed to sign players that had a conflict of interest?
