So Bocat clearly in Jared’s reign . Gibson known to Walters . Johansson bought before Danburgh showed up . Now this QPR chap known to Walters . Seems super John is also recruitment guru . Makes you wonder. Meantime has Jared another job yet ? Or is he waiting for AN to emerge ?

Not sure that’s balanced.
For what it’s worth Jojic is really young and probably performing slightly below expectations, Chiquinho was a loan for us and then went and had a good season in a better league scoring 5 in 27 and Mmaee has shown he’s technically on point he just needs to be managed well, which last season it looks like Schumacher did that.

This argument that Mmaee is shit is baffling... It was perfectly clear to me that he is a quality player that had a few issues last season but you can clearly see that he has quality |

The fact he hasn't rocked up anywhere yet suggests he was pushed, rather than him choosing to move (unless there was a real breakdown in relationships at the top where his position became untenable, which seems unlikely to me), which I find really disappointing. You just have to hope that the new regime hits the ground running and find us some more gems off the back of Bae, Burger, Manhoef and Bocat.
It's imperative that they do as a club in our position needs all the FFP headroom we can generate. Bae, Burger, Manhoef and to a lesser degree Bocat should do that. This summer and January we need the next batch in ready to step in when those four are moved on.
The link to Armstrong is promising on that front, even if we didn't have the ability in the end to get it over the line.

It's possible that his (Jared's) severance package included a non-competition clause and he cannot work for a competitor for a few months....possibly until after the close of the transfer window in August. I get the impression we treat ex-staff fairly in terms of severance so he may have got a hefty whack and he is relaxing on a Caribbean island just enjoying his cash! |

Since leaving us he’s taken advantage of his free time and has been dedicating hours a day to his Football Manager career.
Last I heard he’s taken Accrington Stanley all the way up the league ladder and qualified for the Europa League.
They have a striker from the Faroe Islands who top scored in the most recent Premier League season and a 21 year old defender from Cape Verde who’s linked to a 50 million move to Chelsea.

I still think it was a big mistake letting him go. There’s no doubting his ability to unearth quality signings. He did it at Sheffield United, and bar a few mishaps he did it for us too and we have him to thank for Burger and Bae being multimillion pound assets for us.
I would have kept Jared on as Chief Scout under Darnbrough, utilising his skills as a data analyst to seek out the best value nuggets across the globe.

However he managed to get some high profile players into Hull so let’s hope he can do something similar here. I just can’t see why agents would negotiate exclusively with him. They hawk their players around and play one club off against another, it’s what they do they wouldn’t be doing their job if they didn’t. |

Why would he be waiting for AN to emerge it’s not like they’ve worked together for long periods of their respective careers. I don’t even think AN was particularly enamoured with the recruitment policy last summer. His picks and Jared’s picks stood out like sore thumbs. Shame he hasn’t got another job though we might have been able to unload DJ and Pearson on him. |

I think it’s the only time I saw him play remotely like I want to see a CF play. If he played like that all the time I’d change my opinion of him. Whilst I can see some ability in other games I find his wandering, lack of application and determination, lack of combativeness and generally being a bit of a big fairy really annoying. |
