That's too rich for me anyway. is it though? £2.5m + add ons/sell on won't get you much even in the foreign market, not for strikers

At least this guy would cause some havoc on a pitch. Did Mmaee score 6 league goals last season ?

At least this guy would cause some havoc on a pitch. Did Mmaee score 6 league goals last season ? Nor did Armstrong. They both have the same stats for last year - three goals, three assists. Mmaee played 24 games, Armstrong 39. This might be a case of the green grass. If he is such a prospect why are QPR letting him go so cheaply? £2.5 million with £600k going to Shamrock Rovers? I know they will get 20%of any profit but those figures don't shout out at me as a player who is much better currently than Mmaee. As said somewhere else the days of a traditional, big centre forward have gone. Teams know how to nullify them as defenders are better and you need guile and craft now to open up defences which I would imagine Mmaee has more of.

Could be complete fabrication as it’s hard to believe anyone would be that much of a cock, but if true that’s pretty mad.

He may well have said it after hearing some distressing news, or dealing with some inner demons.

They are just people that earn decent money. How can they be role models when they spend 95% of their time cheating?

I doubt that any player in any club would behave like that to a child. As for the possible reason given above, that's trying to excuse the inexcusable.

I don't believe it neither, and the vast majority of QPR fans commenting on that tweet say it must be made up too, and the ones who say they've met him say he's a nice bloke, saying things like he let their kids have their photo taken with him for example. They're saying the story just doesn't compute with the guy's character.
