I wouldn't claim to have an extensive knowledge of Gibson but he is a left footed centre back who was a regular starter in a top 6 side.

It’s only a team talk article… but decent signing if true. About 5-7yrs ago perhaps. Sure he was always on TP's wanted list when Gibson was at Boro but we never managed to get him in his prime.. |

Played 40 games in all comps for a team that finished in the play offs and he’s only 31 missed no games with injuries or suspensions I noticed as well (we can soon change that)

I don’t know much beyond him breaking Burnley‘s transfer record and going on to make about half an appearance for them.
But there’s no escaping it he’s certainly a Steady Eddie if we‘re to go by his Norwich record.
McCallum and Gibson apparently. So we’ve become Off Cut Norwich. Glorious!

Are some people ever happy with who we sign ? Always whinging McCallum seems like a brilliant signing (if it indeed happens) and folk were unanimously delighted with Johansen. So yes. God forbid folk show a few reservations about a 30+ Steady Eddie who we‘re probably getting at the tail end of that average peak. |

Left footed centre back with loads of experience, played a massive part in Norwich being where they were last season.
Rather him than Cooper for our centre back backup/rotation

Sounds like he went through a difficult time off the pitch last season - premature birth of his second child, in and out of hospital etc.
