Massive congratulations to Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Promoted two seasons in a row on loan. However this triggered 20mill auto buy just seems a bit weird. Great for him, obvs wanted it after Burnley ditched him. But I can’t help that it won’t work out well for the Saints

Heading?, definitely not Tackling, definitely not Positioning, no Long range passing, definitely not Short range passing, yes Pace, both slow so no Strength, definitely not Scoring goals, no Being alert to danger, definitely not Apart from passing it square to the other defenders what is THB better at? To be fair they are probably similar at quite a few things |

Bellis is better at pretty much everything. To be fair they are probably similar at quite a few things Souttar has never impressed me in the air. The rest though I don’t think is up for debate. |

Harwood Bellis gave away a ridiculous free kick late on against Leeds on the edge of the Southampton area.
It wasn't even a tackle. Proper Sunday league stuff, ( well I suppose it was Sunday). Point was, I laughed out loud as I thought we had dodged a bullet there.
Anyway, good luck to the lad but £20m? Man City laughing all the way to the bank.

Apparently there was a clause in the loan from Citeh. If he played x number of games and Saints went up they have to buy him for £20 million

he’s been Saints’ standout player this season and will be the first name on their draft team sheets for the Prem. It’s a lot of money but they’ll be happy to keep him.

His defending against Campbell for our goal a few weeks ago was beyond terrible.

It was kind of clear that he would do much better than us but he was pretty crap while here. Just seemed incapable of staying focused. |
