That’s a shame if it’s not happening. Looks a very good addition on a free. Don’t think there will be too many better free transfers than this in the championship and left back is a key position we need to fill. Mcallum and Stevens would look a solid pair. I love a solid pair

As i said summer will have lots of ups and downs key is how we look in September on and off not at the end of may .I'd love him here but we won't get everything drop our way straight away .Interesting if he's the type we wnar suggest a klopp style formation .

I don’t think I was that high. But it’s irrelevant www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-city-transfer-josh-tymon-8722237The 24-year-old has made the deadline day switch to South Wales for an undisclosed fee believed to be worth about £2.7m. It was reported as £2.7m - which I thought was surprisingly decent at the time. Could be clauses involved? He seems to have done very well for Swansea though, and would have been interesting to see him in a Schumacher team I didn’t realise it was that high, suppose we needed the cash for BTA but the deal never came off then that money for Manhoff so it’s all swings and roundabouts anyway

The Tymon deal was excellent money.

In my opinion we could easily replace Tymon for that amount of money. Stevens when fit is 3 times the player Tymon is at left back in my opinion. Stevens knows how to defend! I really back the decision to let Tymon leave for that kind of money!

Shame it doesn’t look imminent, but still think he ends up here nonetheless.

The Tymon deal was excellent money. But not replacing him at all was just stupid If we sign a player better or as good as Tymon for less money then it's good business Can't be definitive until then

And didn’t spend it on a replacement That was the down side as we got great money for a really ordinary player It’s been a recurring issue, when we’ve received money we haven’t spent wisely. We’ve needed a bona fide left back for quite some time but haven’t seemed interested. We signed Stevens who is solid and gave us much better balance towards the end of the season but we’ve been crying out for a quicker, younger version for what seems like forever

And didn’t spend it on a replacement Which imo is a seperate issue. Imo it isn't If selling a first choice first team player you have to have a plan to replace Clearly there wasn't as such it was bad business If we sell Million this summer for say £10m you could say that's good business but if they don't replace him then it wouldn't be
