As long as the 2nd kit is a complete contrast, no reason to have a third
Maybe we could wear our red and white home kit to more away matches too
Not sure why Southampton didn’t wear their home kit in the play off final

Three kits also maximise sales of replica shirts. Clubs have it written into the contract with the supplier that they will wear the away shirts X many times per season which is also to maximise sales. Many fans like myself wear a ‘favourite’ home shirt and so prefer to buy the away kit each season so the more choice the better 🤷🏻♂️ |

For obvious reasons That is a very good question! 😉🤣 The Stoke shirts I used to wear to play 9 a side in that were the worst offenders were the yellow/blue Le Coq Sportif away shirt from the Prem era & the Green (double thickness material) Asics Away Shirt from the late 90's! More recently than that I once wore the fluorescent yellow Adidas training top we had in Hughes first season for marathon training as it was bright on dark evenings. Got back after a run out & had clearly had bit of chaffing going on and there was splatters of red right down the front 🫣 ! Had to purchase some American 'Nip Guards' from USA to complete the London Marathon & got to say they worked a treat! Although taking them off afterwards was a completely different ball game! 😬😬 |
