We do an end of season sale like that every year though. A sale but not a full clear out They just sell it until it’s gone I always presumed? |

It was the manner of how this was sale was done, a complete sell out of shirts at £10, shorts £5, training kit £5-10. On Thursday at the kit design the mock ups had no kit manufacturer, and Nathan never denied or confirmed it’s macron next season, he said announcement is soon? I think it could be an independent kit for a couple of seasons? |

If they did a “no panel” option it would be a totally different pattern at the manufacturer. |

Fair enough, I see why he would ask though. I wouldn't go around in a striped shirt with a big white panel on the back. I would look ridiculous. If we really can't have stripes where the number should go I'd prefer a single colour back like we had on the FA Cup final shirt. |

Didn't realise that,cheers,but even if the front of the shirt was the best ever in the history of Stoke home tops the panel on the back would still stop me buying it...its horrendous. |

We also spoke to the Head of retail last week.
Jokingly said I need my new shirt for 2nd week of June holiday and he said I think you'll be alright.
He said the kits were delivered last week just need to sort out the fine details now. Kit launch display etc.
Also seemed quite coy on macron throughout the session so I'm thinking if it's still macron this time it deffo won't be next year. (I'm hoping we have a clean break and get a new one in for this upcoming shirt tbf)
Also fair play to the club and nathan especially (head of retail) and Simon king the design a kit process was fantastic and hopefully the winning design (which non of us know) as it was a secret ballot will be a blinder for next season.
Last thing asked him about where all the £10 stuff came from and he said they contacted the supplier to see if there wasn't anything they needed to sell off last minute and they turned up with tonnes of it (must have found it in the clubs we don't care about warehouse

All the kits for the top 4 inc Man United, the material feels poor and in comparison to our shirts (material/cost), I feel we have been very lucky. The only negativity towards Macron is a poor performance on the pitch. I would welcome Macron to continue based on bespoke kits & quality. |
