Quite a big budget and some good players in there. I think they probably should have made the play-offs given the squad they ended the season with. They were really poor against us I thought and I'm sure their owner said their minimum aim was the play-offs.
Bit of a shit decision and one that might bite them on the arse.

Big mistake from Hull. Heโs really bright young coach. Wouldnโt have minded him here when we sacked Neil. Heโs only just signed a new contract as well.

Thatโs a joke of a decision.
Hope they do a Birmingham next season.

Yea file that one under 'crap decision'. There really is no loyalty in football these days

Crazy decision.
Reeks of an owner going balls out for the play offs and looking to blame anyone and everyone but himself.

The fans have wanted him gone for ages. Not surprised theyโve pulled the trigger. Should get a half decent gig though

Very interesting to see who their eccentric/nuts owner goes for now.
I didn't think they were ever quite good enough to go up despite pushing the boat out a bit.

What a crazy decision. I know they spent a bit but I'd say narrowly missing out on the play off's was decent season for them.

Was their team THAT good? A few very good players in there but you'd say their league position was about par. I know they spend a bit of money but that doesn't give you the right to make the Play-Offs.

A mate of mine is a Hull fan and never expected to be as good as they were, but maybe heโs a pessimistic twat ๐ still seems strange to sack him seems unduly harsh

I've often wondered what it's like to support a club that sacks a relatively successful manager...

Seri and Morton as the midfield pair with Philogene, Tufan and Carvalho ahead of them is very good for this league. Their defence is not the greatest in fairness, but Iโd say their team is better than West Brom and at least on par with Norwich

Could they attract Steve Cooper or Will Still (still probably a punt but one who'd be exciting to a degree?)
Or it going to be a random Turk?

It's a kind of strike early before clubs like Sunderland & Plymouth start to seriously cast their net out for their next potential manager isn't it. Could see Rosenior heading down to Plymouth to take charge. Both him and his dad had spells either playing for & managing Torquay so the South West isn't unfamiliar territory to them. Be a potentially good fit for both parties that. I had a sneaky feeling we were going to be eyeing up Steve Cooper if the owners were after a change. Would probably be the only option I'd consider if they were, but certainly wouldn't sack Shuey to enable this to happen.

Expect the Chairman to get an ex Premier League manager as a marquee signing

Spent about ยฃ10 million on transfers and made some very expensive loans. The playoffs was probably seen as a minimum target and he was probably fired for failing to deliver on expectations. Not really shocking.
