I remember last year reading about massive changes. Turned out to be a new canteen at clayton woods. Maybe this year it's something like safe standing

He seems to have changed himself in a massive way. More optimistic and funny and lighter, much less gloomy and morose. I like it, well done benji keep it up 👍🏻 Coincides with a few excellent performances from the team. It’s wonderful what that can do for the mind. Being a Stoke fan is not for the fragile. Must be something more than that he has a completely different mindset/opinion as if he has heard something he likes and agrees with.. could be on something i suppose for the bank holiday weekend... Now if bayern suddenly started being positive i would know there is definitely something in the air/water..

He’s been carrying a groin injury pretty much all season to be fair to him Was it affecting his brain and make him want to continually pass the buck. Dunno mate. I’m not a brain surgeon 🤷♂️

Good. Wright's pies are fucking rank these days. A shadow of their former selves. When was the last time you had a Hollands pie? Wrights have gone downhill but still have some way to go to be as bad as Hollands. Now if they want to improve ticket sales we all know who should be approached to do the catering……. Stadia Catering?

Given the number of players out of contract and loans we had ..major change is an obvious throwaway line But if we’re serious , and it’s not just a rinse & repeat Hopefully as intimated by the club it’ll mean a smaller squad , but one of higher quality , with a targeted approach to recruitment rather than a scatter gun approach Id hope that means laying a proper strong foundation for a true playoff / promotion challenge if not next year then the season after , by using our finances to build a defence made up of our own players , rather than loans ..that means a goalkeeper a left back and a CB ..due to FFP and the difficulty recruiting to the championship they might need to be younger players hence the 2 year timeline .the major difference is they’d be our players Our midfield already shows promise despite a poor season overall for the team , once you have a strong defence and a strong midfield that can both create and protect the already strong back line when needed then you can play on the front foot One or two quality costly loans should be the cherry on the cake , loaned for our benifit ,preferably in January to freshen the squad and bring experience of how to box a season off and get a promotion push over the line ..rather than being the core of the team from the outset if we do even part of the above I’d say that would represent a massive change in policy at the club I agree with most of that. There's too many throw away signings right now, sadly some are still here and some have gone - which isn't the right way around. I'd like -but probably won't get - either Cundle or Hoever to be made permanent. Stevens resigning would significantly help our LB position, along with a youngster. We obviously need a keeper, but I wouldn't go for a youngster in this position. That's been a weak area this term and it can't continue. Obviously going back for Travers won't be an option (he started at the weekend). We also need a replacement for Tyrese and I'm slightly baffled why we didn't offer him a new contract as we're not going to find anything better right now and I'd prefer we'd concentrate on positions we are really weak on rather than adding to our issues. Overall it's yet another mini-reset, hopefully less, but we're still resetting to a certain degree. It's the problem with a top-heavy loan system it's always going to be rinse and repeat. Cundle I’d certainly be very interested in , if we could sign him as ours ( rather than a loan) ..took a while a while to settle into a poorly constructed , underachieving squad and team under serious threat of relegation and as SS man became a whipping boy for some on here and at games ..but once he settled , the team seemed to settle too and you could see why SS ( if you didn’t remain blinkered ) wanted him and his future potential .. A keeper , I’d be hoping to get an established 23-25 year old , Viktor Johansson at Rotherham is a bit older than I thought at 25 ( 26 in September ) but that’s the age group I’d prefer ..28/9+ would probably mean a loan from the prem that might be of higher quality , but likely to not have played regularly for a year or two .. so would need a minimum of 10-12 games pre and early season to get rid of ring rust , whereas the modern championship preseason without the commercial aspect of the prem tends to be 5 or 6 preseason games .so I’d rule that route out on that basis ( and because I don’t believe our first choice should be a loan ) Talking of which all managers will say they want players in early ,easier said than done , but our pre Preseason planning needs to be a hell of a lot better than last year ..when we had to rely on kids to make up the numbers just so training & preseason games could go ahead ..no wonder we ran out of early fizz after 5-8 games ..simply because after 8 games most teams were 20-30% fitter than our late put together squad ..things should be better this time , but never again Stoke Preseason it’ll be interesting if we return to TPs Austrian haunts ( Brum I believe are going there having knocked the US on the head )

Given the original overhaul they promised consisted of Gary Rowett spaffing 60M up the wall on overpaid and overhyped shit, I'd say the definition of "massive changes" will extend to Barbara in accounts investing in a new Parker pen...
