No, not him. The football club, pride of German football, apart from all those that hate them. First Xabi Alonso chose to stay with current club. Then Nagelsmann, their previous coach, turned down a return, and chose to stay with the German national team. Now Ralf Ragnick has turned down an offer and prefers to stay with Austria's national team. www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/may/02/ralf-rangnick-opts-against-bayern-munich-move-and-stays-with-austriaPerhaps Bayern will have to do a Xavi-like U-turn and ask Thomas Tuchel to stay on in the job... Although who will manage Manure then...?

Rangnick is an odd one, isn't he? In football terms anyway.
How can he turn Bayern down? And why are Bayern interested in him anyway?
I assume the answer to the first one is he very much likes the paid handsomely part-time international gig in a lovely German speaking country. But it's rarely seen in football that someone would turn a club like Bayern down for that.
For me the bigger question is why do Bayern even want him? Placeholder until next season perhaps?

Although I failed to spell his name correctly, he's very highly rated as a coach in Germany. So nothing odd about Bayern wanting him, but he's probably done the right thing in continuing in a lower pressure job. His best spell as coach was at lowly Hoffenheim, who he took from Bundesliga 3 into the big one and courted winning it at one time.

I heard from someone ITK.
Bayern fancies himself for the job.
Verlinden, Sorensen and Sidibe are checking out apartments in Munich.
Harry Kane is looking at flights home.

I think it will be De Zerbi, he seems delusioned at Brighton and seems like he's ready throw toys out pram.

They might even steal a March on that Ruben Amorim who Liverpool and West Ham were/might be interested in. Think he’d be up their street. Really don’t know why their fans want Tuchel to stay. He’s not done great really has he?

Placeholder would be my guess too. Keeping the seat warm for Klopp. If Klopp rocks up at Bayern I'll eat my hat. It would be brilliant just to see the Liverpool fans have a meltdown.

Points wise, they're only 4 points off their tally after this many games last season. It's just that levekusen have had a phenomenal season.

He's only 1 game away from being in the Champions League final, if they can find a way past the monotonous Madrid then they'll surely be favourites against Dortmund/PSG.

He gets plenty of stick on here and I myself give him a bit but he takes it all with a pinch of salt. Stay on here Bayern, football management is overrated anyway.

I've said it before, I reckon he's an amateur debater and comes on here for practice to propose impossible positions to see if he can talk his way out of it. He does pretty well sometimes out of some untenable positions 😆

He certainly sticks to his guns but never seen anyone paint themselves into a corner so much No nuance from him, players are either the next Pele or dogshit Still it's not untypical from a teenager, generally once people have had a but of life experience they get less arrogant and absolutist in their arguments

We don't want Bayern getting hold of that info or he'll be all over the Harry Kane is wank thread😆 Edit, actually they're not going to break any record. However they are likely to surpass total goals scored in a season compared to the last 7 or so seasons. So could be argued they haven't missed Kane particularly. But we all know they'd have him back in a heart beat.
