Just looked at the seats left online, seems loads left especially the bottom tiers of the Boothen End, probably more avaliable than sold.
Plenty of seats empty in other parts of the stadium as well, should the club have offered reduced prices or are supporters not bothered.
Thought the atmosphere at Hillsborough was superb, well done to Wednesday for selling out and also congratulations to the 4000 filling the away end. Strange we can't sell out for the most important home game for years.

Don’t usually blame the club much but I’ve got to blame them for this game.
I said the other day it shouldn’t even be bring someone for a tenner, it should be a quid a ticket anywhere in the ground for this one off.
A full ground guarantees a loud atmosphere.
They did a cheap one the other week, but missed a trick when we really needed pack this out

Our biggest home game for 7 years and supporters need a cheap ticket incentive to get them down to the ground? Packing the place out with kids for £1 who aren’t that interested in the game can be counter productive. I think the attendance will be decent anyway. Much better to have 22-24k there who are all truly committed to the cause.

As has been proven over and over we can have a big crowd that's quiet and a small on which is raucous
Play like we did v Albion and the crowd will be right at it

The fact we can’t fill the ground without the discount for Plymouth at home is exactly a reason to do it

Rather than discount the ticket, could they offer a number of free drinks before the game?
Get people tanked up and para!

Very poor from the club this game is so important & some kind of cheap ticket deal should have been announced after last Saturdays game. Plymouth selling out will give them a huge advantage & make it like a home game for them. The powers that be could have shot themselves in the foot.

Can we have a nice deathly silent away end for a change. Can we score early to shut the fookers up 😊

The more the week progresses the more cool and confident I'm feeling about this game.
Reckon 2-1 to the mighty Potters.
Early goal for us and a very late winner.

That’s why when they do the £10 offer it has to be presented as a perk for season ticket holders to bring friends rather than just outright selling tickets for a tenner. We tend to play shit when there’s a ticket offer on. I honestly think we’ll be better off without a few thousand part timers adding to the tension.

You can't blame people for not turning up regardless of how big the game is supposed to be.
People have clearly had enough and are voting with their feet.

Despite all the great things the club do around season tickets/away travel the match day prices for those unable to commit to a season ticket are far too high for an area like Stoke-on-Trent……

Think you are totally correct speaking to a few fans this week all have said they lost interest and not bothered because even if they stay up it will be the same crap next season,

Which is fair enough it’s personal choice but its not exactly supporting your team when it’s needed. Obviously for those physically or financially unable to attend it’s a different story…..

We just don’t back our club at home like your Sheffield Wednesday’s and Derby’s. We’re very poor at home. Like a previous poster says it’s difficult after years of shite. Plus let’s face it. We’re not as big as either.

It will disappointing if we can’t get 25k+ for such a big game without having to dangle a ticket offer.
I appreciate times are tough, but we have enough casual supporters to reach that figure surely.

Why would people want to go a home game?
We’ve won 2 since late October.
We stand a very good chance of losing.
If we do it really puts us in the shit.
And it will be anxious as fuck.
Why would you choose to go to that if you don’t already have a ticket?

I saw yesterday there’s an offer for members £5 tickets providing they haven’t applied for the members offers previously at selected games.
Agree that it’s a massive game and hopefully there is a good crowd in attendance?

I always thought that was the case Walrus but how come Hull were able to fill their stadium with cheap tickets for all spectators over Easter? For the record we shouldn’t need an offer to have a bumper crowd for such a big match as this. The problem isn’t the lack of an offer it’s the stupidly high matchday prices which no-one at the club seems to ever look at! Be creative Stoke for those who don’t have a season ticket. It’s all about habit and as we see every other week thousands have lost the habit already.

I keep on seeing posts on Facebook crying out for £10 tickets… Why would some folk think that they can come in at a cheaper price for 1 game when we have had to suffer all season? As for the playing shit when having a cheap ticket offer on. I totally agree. This has been a thing for a few seasons now, we either loose or it’s a terrible 0-0. Personally I couldn’t care less about getting the stadium full for satdy. The fans have showed that if the team turns up then we will respond.

Can’t say I’m intimately familiar with the ins and outs of it to be honest. Even if it’s not an official rule it’s definitely a club policy that we have that season ticket holders get the cheapest tickets, which is hard to disagree with really given the shite we’ve sat through in the last few years!
