Without checking, I don’t think we do too badly there, but I don’t think many games have been played with the importance of today hanging over them. I am also just about to ship a nervous turd off to Drainsville. Not amazing i dont think last win there sidibe and akinbiyi scored i think some one mentioned.... I’m sure we’ve won at least one there since relegation, didn’t Afobe get both in a 2-0 win? Or did we mess that up and draw 2-2?

It won't happen, but Laurent shouldn't be anywhere near Yorkshire today,or any other ground until next season, when hopefully he's playing for someone else.

No ifs, buts maybe's. This is an absolute MUST WIN. For both teams We need some controlled aggression and leave nothing out there at the end and f the game

Already shitting me sen. LITERALLY! Whats our record like at Hillsborough? Without checking, I don’t think we do too badly there, but I don’t think many games have been played with the importance of today hanging over them. I am also just about to ship a nervous turd off to Drainsville. Add me to the list of people now nervously dropping the kids at the pool.

Does anybody really have much hope that these players can put in a shift today & get 3 points. After that insipid display at Swansea I have lost all hope. The Swansea performance has really dented our belief in the team after the Hull and West Brom games... Which team will turn up today is the million dollar question.

Iverson
Hoever Rose McNally Stevens
Burger Thompson Baker
Bae Campbell Leris
We need to get the points today and for that to happen, Laurent and Ennis need to be nowhere near the team. We’ve got to get at Sheff Wed and battle otherwise we’ll be on the end of a catastrophe

Big game today, sadly for the wrong reasons for both clubs. I'm not old enough to remember both clubs meeting in the top tier but I've seen a fair few games between us and there's a few played for both I can remember. Safe travels to anyone making the journey. I went to both legs against Wednesday in the League Cup when we were in League One, thinking it was cool to be up against a ‘glamour’ Premier League side. Funny how times change.

I wouldn’t play McNally again this season. There’s no point saying things like this when we have no other or even worse alternative options (i.e. Wilmot). Like it or lump it, Rose and McNally are our best CB pairing and that is a poor reflection of our qualities.

I'd say a point today make it very likely we'll stay up, but a win almost guarantees this. A defeat today will be a disaster in my opinion! Lose today and we’re gone I agree. The hammer blow to our fragile mental state will be too much to overcome if we lose. Plymouth and Dewsnip will be well up for nailing the final bolt in Schumacher’s coffin.

McNally will just fuck off and ruin someone else’s defence next year

Can a CB pairing of Rose and Wilmot stand up to this physical Wednesday side?

Today is huge but it just feels like lately when it’s really mattered we’ve not raised our game when the opposition have Swansea being a classic example.
It just feels so predictable that you could almost predict a storyboard where the majority of points are covered
- slow off the blocks - second to every ball - concede in the first half hour (usually with an avoidable goal) - huff and puff without getting close to scoring - aimless passing around the pack with at some point the ball being lost and a chance being created - concede a 2nd - heads down - silly booking - Conceding after a good spell where we’ve threatened to score and concede on the break from a low cross that doesn’t get cut out - Stoke 0
Just for once let’s get it right. The away fans have been brilliant and deserve better. A win today and we’ll be safe let’s want it more than them. Oh and let’s have a decent ref.

After Wednesdays no show I can see nothing but a 3-0 loss, massive following will be really on their backs.
Hope I’m wrong but this manager and squad plus John Coates are useless

If anyone paid attention to all the posts on social media saying X, Y, or Z player should never play for Stoke again, we'd have to forfeit every game due to insufficient players. The team is our team, we either support them or we don't. Come On Stoke....... Make us virtually safe today!

We have lost 3 of our last 8 and have given good account of ourselves against teams much higher than us. Yes, we're not the finished product, and yes we are still prone to committing harakiri, but all is not lost yet and there is a lot of reasons for hope also!

Lose and I think we're down Feeling quite doomy today Would agree to an extent. It will put us right in it again. Trouble is, who is going to stand up? We have no leaders on the pitch and we crumble under any kind of pressure. Massive game and we traditionally do shite in these scenarios 😂

Of course you have to fight while there's a chance to beat the drop. Just for the record; even if we lose today we won't even be in the bottom three, because of our, ahem, superior GD compared to SW! That is unless Wednesdaay beat us by six goals, in which case their superior GF see them overtake us. And it would also require Hudds to win, for us to be 22nd.

We're not down if we lose today..well not yet anyway. Worst case scenario if we lose and Huddersfield win well and Birmingham win, is we drop a place to 21st. Of course we are in the shit then!
