Saints away probs the toughest No reason we cant get points from the rest however Yeah tough game but they won’t have anything to play for. Yeah hopefully theyll have secured their play off place and maybe take their foot off it a bit

We absolutely battered them. If we had better finishers in the squad we'd have cruised that. However, given the circumstances of the game (going 2-0 down) and the fact that they're 5th in the league fighting for a play-off place, I think we have to be somewhat happy with a point gained when it could have easily been 0. I think we're safe, just need another win to secure it. We have the best form of anyone in the bottom half, even with 2 home draws thrown in...

I wish I could say well done, but I just can't today. We were lucky to get a point when we should have easily scored earlier. Happy for the point though. Lucky to get a point? We absolutely deserved a point & on another day would’ve taken all 3.

I think this team may just give someone a whupping before the end of the season. Not a prayer. Fair play to Schumacher he looks to have the players on side, I think credit to SJW too for that but we are wasteful in defence and attack.

Yeah I was cussing at HT. We miss so many golden opportunities and then that 2nd half! We should have won like 5 to 2, but I'll take that comeback any day. (Agree that we were lucky - well somewhat)
Anyone have an Under 9 player who can come tutor the first team on how to actually put a ball in the net instead of beating round the bush? It'd be a well-spent $200/hr. as specialized tutor.
Edit: Also agree that "bottle" has been sorely missing for a long time and there's actually been SOME evidence of it emerging finally. Dumb mistakes on defense and ... we seriously need that tutor.

In any game what has already happened is irrelevant. The fact that they are winning is enough of a reflection. They deserved their goal, our finishing has been non existent. It may be their tactics to not put too much legs into it then to hit us on the break. If they are 2 I fully expect them to just sit back the entire time. I thought it was common knowledge to let us have the ball and fuck everything up, and score the odd chance you get?? At least for the last 3 seasons? it was complete nonsense to suggest wba had another gear etc, they'd conceded 4 clear goalscoring opportunities against us in the first 45 and continued to struggle all game. I don't think they struggled too much second half. We weren't going to score from open play again after the first, how many clear chances did they give us second half? Thankfully we converted after fucking up the penalty. Played well but both ends were a bit of a problem, we looked like conceding every time they had intent... And we couldn't make a half decent effort on goal bar the wonder finish (quite like hoevers) and then snoring the pen rebound. Very lucky.

Good performance today overall. Laurent at fault for both goals but other than those moments WBA didn’t create much at all. On the flip side we should have been 2 up in the first 20 and we played some good football.
Most importantly, that’s the first time I can remember us coming back from 2-0 in years and years. Really impressive how we kept at it and kept calm. Hopefully we are on to something now, the mental aspect has been our Achilles heel since the year we came down imo

Starting to show some real fight
Played some great stuff today
We've seen with Hull and West Brom that you don't have to be that great a side to be pushing play offs. . west Brom had a spell when they made the subs and played the press but for the rest of the game were second best.

Saints away probs the toughest No reason we cant get points from the rest however Saints away will be interesting. Hope we're safe. They have got 3 game weeks for the next 3 weeks though - away at Leicester the Tuesday before we go there. Presumably Smallbone will dazzle for them.. Don't think no floodlights.

Million looks superb.
Hoever isn’t as bad defensively as he is made out to be.
The lack of awareness in defence and midfield is costing us.
The finishing is still shit.
At least we didn’t drop our heads today and it proves that you can come back from even 2-0.

Cheer up mate I'm very happy with the draw, but the idea that we're were great is over egging it. Say it how it was. A lot of effort, no penetration. Lucky to get the draw after 2 down but on the positive we kept going. We really really lack quality to top, that's with the world beater Jun ho who flattered to deceive and 4 million mahoef who was probably mom after Mmaee went off injured. Without Mmaee we looked in serious trouble, but somehow managed to score a brilliant goal and wrangle a rebound in very very luckily. WBA were very poor in the end and show the quality of the league. But we're were fortunate to get a draw in the end, even managing to look shit in defence right up until the last seconds. Iverson saved even one? Both ends are a massive issue

I thought some of our build up play today was excellent, good passing and movement, but a decent striker needed, we should have been 3 up before their first goal.
That was probably the worst penalty I have ever seen, low and a metre one side of the keeper, lucky rebound but well done for the follow up and finish.
With a proper striker and no nonsense centre half, we are looking top half of this league, presuming we are in it next season.

No, I think you've been traumatized by the last few years watching Stoke and you're being overly negative here. I'm sure any fair minded WBA fan will say they were second best. We played some brilliant stuff but yes, we look vulnerable at the back, we need a goalscorer, but there are some very good footballers in the squad We have something to build on. 60% possession today and 18 shots with 7 target

Pity we can't afford all the players needed, because we need a completely new defence and forward line if we are going to make any progress.
People say Mmaee is our best striker, but how many goals has he got 1 or 2?
If he doesn't start scoring a few before the season ends,we have to try and sell him.
