We have to win this one. If we break him doing it then so be it. I don’t think the player or the manager will see it like that. I really couldn’t care less about the player. And the manager should. It’s a massive game that if we win relieves so much pressure. Lose it and you’re back in it.

I agree, and playing unfit players is a massive risk. He’s fit? He’s played once in five months. If he’s fit and able to play without risk then yes, fine.

I hope to God he goes for it and doesn’t play the same team. That set up was ideal for an away game but it’s terrible for a home one that you need to win and that you will need to break a side down in. He should go with: Iversen Hoever Rose McNally Stevens Burger Baker Laurent Manhoef Mmaee Junho Totally agree. He kept the same defensive/negative shape from the Preston game into the Norwich one and it was a mistake. I hope he's learnt his lesson.

That’s the team for me, no use replaying the Norwich game, especially against a struggling team. Harsh on Leris but no room for sentiment, the sooner we are safe the better and we can start to plan for next season.

I'd like to see that team too the issue would guess is can Stevens play again so soon?

Leris at home is just pathetic though. He can’t control the ball and kills any attack stone dead. Unless you just want to diagonal it to his head then he serves no purpose at all home.

About the worst signing for me this season.

Have only seen Hudders 3 times this season and they like to leave a foot in. Got away with it v Leeds although ended up with 10 men but not for a challenge seem to remember.

That’s not what you said. How much was Leris? Less than a million? He’s not been anything near to our worst player, regardless of his transfer fee.

Lose it and you’re back in it. Short term thinking like that is part of the reason we’re in the shit. Time for rational, cool heads.

And he’ll be on a good wage coming from a decent club. I just don’t think he looks like he’s played football before and has played far too often. At least Wesley has barely been used. Makes him far more palatable.

To an extent and if he’s happy to get through the game like that then it’s fine. If he wasn’t and he has every right not to then that fine too. But from pov I’m not actually arsed about him in anyway shape or form. Players come and go.

I think we have to give the coaches credit for knowing what team to select. If as it was against Norwich it isn't working then have the nouse and guts to change it. The mistake against Norwich was not picking the same team it was not changing the team when the reality set in.
