Get into em, fuck em up would be my team talk You know how refs react to us using such a strategy. We could have four players sent off.

Bizarre thinking Tom Edwards will be ineligible for them on Monday due to Stoke still being his parent club! Seems absolutely years since he last pulled a Stoke shirt on for a competitive match, potentially prior to Covid times, & has mainly featured on the bench for Huddersfield this season. A player who will surely be thinking about, and perhaps concerned about his career come this summer when his contract at Stoke expires. Should imagine L1 or L2 would be his next level judging by recent seasons and flattering to deceive! Potentially end up down the Vale in a Carl Dickinson/Danny Pugh type of move! He’d pretty much nailed on a fullback slot in our last season in the Prem. Bizarre how his career has slid downwards since then. All because of one mistake.

A must win for me, a defeat and yesterday's efforts are worthless. Go for the jugular.

A must win for me, a defeat and yesterday's efforts are worthless. Worthless? No 3 points at the bottom is worthless. Especially considering the table this morning Will be a lost chance to pull well clear but anything but worthless A draw wouldn't be a complete disaster as we could do without Hudders gaining points on us but expecting a tough game considering the treatment they gave Leeds

Have we had a female referee before or is Rebecca Welch the first?

defeat would not be the end of the world though especially after todays great win. We will still stay up whatever Mondays result imo. Absolute nonsense Where’s your ambition . Are you seriously suggesting a loss at home To huddlesfield wouldn’t be the end of the world?! Behave Agreed we simply cant lose to them else all the work from yesterday is undone. worse case scenario needs to be a draw so we maintain the 5 point gap. more than capable of the 3 points though

a win would hopefully see us safe and in a decent place,,a lose and the results go against us and its squeekey bum again so lets not count our chickens just yet,,any points between now and the end of season would be great,

One would hope that yesterday's results means that there will be significantly less tension in the ground and an atmosphere more akin to the Middlesbrough game. I'm still elated about yesterday. Atmosphere should be pretty electric you’d think. If we play properly, we could take these to the cleaners. Hopefully their recent-ish good run coming to an end sees them arrive here pretty low on confidence. We know what this league is like though. If we can’t follow up yesterday with something positive then will we ever?

Really hoping Enda is able to give us 60 minutes, he's critical to this team.
If so, I'd keep the backline as is, bring Burger in for Cundle alongside Thompson then Bae for Haks. I'd stick with Leris and Mmaee.

Are play offs still on?
We will every game until the end of the season. It’s practically free money.

Wonder if we could threaten our biggest crowd since the 2018-19 season? Currently, bizarrely, Blackpool in 2022
Could depend on how many they bring. Don't think we'll be far off though, with the offer, Bank Holiday, importance of the game, feelgood factor and what should be a decent away following
25871 Leeds 23-24 25512 S'land 23-24 25058 B'ham 23-24
23970 Hull 22-23 23486 WBA 22-23 23612 B'pool 22-23
26384 B'pool 21-22 23502 B'ham 21-22 23086 Cov 21-22
25359 Sheff W 19-20 25436 Cardiff 19-20 24,004 QPR 19-20
28586 Leeds 18-19 27975 Villa 18-19 26828 WBA 18-19 26736 Forest 18-19 26655 Sheff U 18-19 26398 Sheff W 18-19

We lost the game in question 1-0 in March 2022 with the bumper crowd, but then beat them 2-0 at home in the August.

Reality check, Huddersfield have actually lost three less games than us this season and given our almost non scoring home record they’ll certainly be no pushovers. Bookies have got it about right with odds of 11/10 for a Stoke win. Given the display at Hull and the confidence that must have given the players, I’m going for a narrow home win

It’s going to be interesting to see how Huddersfield approach it. Do they play defensive and try and nick a result or do they need to really go for it against a relegation rival given their current precarious position.

I'd forgotten about him. He seemed such a talented player and a promising Stoke regular. I wonder why it all went wrong for him?

Draw not much use to them, it's an absolute must win game for them Best way to beat Stoke at Stoke is to defend deep and hit Stoke with pace later on However Huddersfield have been shipping goals lately and just don't have as much quality as even the sides around them Their only apparant tactic lately is to be very physical, dirty even as they were v Leeds when they got a result Don’t think this game will be like all those other home games, think we will win Might be back to normal for Albion mind

I heard he was a massive big time Charlie thinking he'd made it. Might be wrong about that but can see it having some truth to be fair...

I hope to God he goes for it and doesn’t play the same team.
That set up was ideal for an away game but it’s terrible for a home one that you need to win and that you will need to break a side down in.
He should go with:
Iversen
Hoever Rose McNally Stevens
Burger Baker Laurent
Manhoef Mmaee Junho

He’s also the only recognised left back at the club so maybe after a long lay off he’s better off sitting this one out and ensuring he’s fit for another big game on Saturday against West Brom.
