I will hopefully be in sunny (cold and wet) Wales by then. But very much looking forward to the break We all need a break mate I’ve had mine already this year Is it anywhere near Barry I worked there for a few months loved it. Have a good one Going to Tenby. Never been before but it looks lovely. And thank you!

Jesus Christ. So basically adding Wilmot to any configuration of the defence results in conceding 3x as many goals.

And thank you! Lovely part of the world, my wife lived on Caldy Island for a while, take the boat trip over if it's running, don't buy into the bullshit the monks sell but it's so peaceful. We had a holiday home there for a while but the 4 hour drive was a bit much for the kids so sold it and now have one North Wales. Back on topic, they're doubtless the best pairing, and even better than when all three are in there but do feel sorry for Wilmott. He wasn't great before and has really struggled since his injury, we've never signed a CB that gets the best out of him (he seemed much better next to Souttar).

Funny old game.
They still make horrendous errors when they play together at least twice a game, but rarely get punished.
Today off the top of my head I’m pretty sure Steven’s bailed Rose out when he got caught out pushing way too high, and then there was a near calamity with Iversen that ended in a foul by Ohio. (Rose again?)
Still, better to have a lucky general than a good one. And on balance they have passed the eye test far more regularly as the season has gone on. Except for (rose in particular) the tendency to commit to a tackle 5 or 10 yards too high, they’ve started too look solid as well as having the stats.

Think the clown show with Iversen was McNally mate?

Must be a coincidence 😎 No I don’t think it is. I think it’s because we have a completely new back line (one that changes week in, week out) and the only two people in the defence who know each other are Rose and McNally. When they play together, they at least play like they’ve met.
