Case for the defence, Bae and Million were away and may need a bit more time, Leris is in to protect the right side and he wants Baker for Monday. Maybe Cundle, Haks played well in last week’s friendly. Pleased to see Maaee back but he will lack support I appreciate you’re trying to give Schumacher the benefit of the doubt but he’s lost the right to that after various other bizarre team selections and tactical decisions. Even if we win today it will be more “stopped clock is right twice a day” than “clever tactics”. I have been critical of him but he got some big calls right today. Centre backs, Laurent left/advanced, Leris, Haks and Maaee all did well and he has legs in the tank for Monday

I don't know how anyone can question a managers tactics, it's clear that fans know jack shit about the line ups, formations and what tactics we are using.
How many people actually look at our opponents weaknesses? A formation or the starting 11 doesn't dictate what we will try to do and which players we will target where we think we will have more joy during a match. Schumacher clearly isn't a mug tactics wise, time to trust what he does and judge the performance after the match.

Looks like a team picked with Monday in mind to me. Don’t mind the front three, but the middle looks fragile to say the least. Yep, looks like today is written off.... puts enormous pressure on Monday to be nothing other than a win. Hope it works out cos there's some crap coming his way if it doesn't. So many experts

Happy to be wrong re todays result. Todays result was all about attitude. Thought everyone was top notch and never stopped running. Lerris, Mmaee, Stevens and Hoever outstanding. We just look so much better with Mmaee up top and a back 4.

Anyone can be a smart arse after the event Am sure all are delighted to be wrong You're spot on. Never understood the whole coming on here and gloating after a Stoke win, just looks pathetic and quite childish. As they say, hindsight never loses. God forbid people use a public messageboard to discuss things.

It’s going to take more than a surprise away win to make up for the dross he’s subjected us to at home in the last couple of months. But it’s a step in the right direction. Really hope he doesn’t bottle it on Monday and sets us up to attack at home for once.

My worry was go behind and nothing there which thankfully we didn't and never looked like doing. Was lots of positives re Stevens in midweek from the camp and could see why. I doubt many expected him to look like the player he was 5 years ago against such a dangerous player

Like most thought it was an odd line up, however thought that was the performance of the season, low bar set I know but we really controlled the game from start to finish.

We were excellent but I was really dissapointed by Hull today. Glimpses of quality but on the whole bang average. It’ll be interesting to see what their fans thoughts were. Hated the way they were throwing themselves around looking for fouls. Thought they’d be much better than they were interesting to see from their fans as to how much of it was down to our tactics, performance or there poor showing.

God forbid people use a public messageboard to discuss things. Anyone can come on before the game and make themselves look stupid. The intelligent keep quiet because they have learned that anything can happen, and we have to have faith. There's absolutely nothing intelligent in coming on here only after a rare win, dragging up reactions to a lineup and belittling fellow fans. And then calling people "pathetic" and "loser".

Told you the front three (although it didn’t really play as a front three per se) looked decent to me! I rarely ever slag anything off before a ball is kicked because you just never know what will play out. It looked like a potentially weakened 11, but the way it played suited everyone and it worked. Leris should be an option as an outlet like that much more often.
