None of the teams today played a back 3, and I don’t think many actually do. Which teams are you thinking of? Besides us! Huddersfield, Plymouth and Preston did at a glance. Newcastle did, Luton did... Yea so they did, although it’s still the exception than the rule. No doubt they did a better job of it than we did 😂

If the 9-0 cumulative home loss against Leicester, Coventry, and Norwich wasn’t enough to convince Schumacher that wingbacks to “shore things up” against the better teams is a dreadful idea, is the surprise 2-0 away win at Hull enough to convince him that playing with a back four might actually get us winning matches?
I would gladly never see a Stoke team playing wingbacks again.

He works so hard that he offers good cover to the fullbacks whilst still managing to get forwards.
