How did the pair of clowns (the ref and linesman by the Sentinel Stand) miss that? It was blatant! Even a Vale fan I took with me said it was a penalty! More disgraceful officialing-them pair were wank all game mind!

To be honest it looked as if Stoke handballed in the second half as well though, which should have been a penalty. Pretty gash game to be watching on the telly, particularly as people wanted the Arsenal one on instead.

Yes we did get away with a definite handball second half.

The decisions equalled themselves out, Bayern. That was definitely a handball in the second half.

I thought there was an equally valid shout for a Stoke penalty in the first half. A blatant shove in the back on Fuller (I think) as he rose for a header at the back post. I think the ref gave a handball against Stoke, which if memory serves me correctly was caused by the shove taking him off balance. It was mentioned in commentary but they didn't show it again as the action was obviously too fast and furious for a replay.

Agree Bill-was a blatant push on Fuller- as for their handball- sure it struck an arm but not deliberate. The Norwich one was a better shout but still wasn't convinced on that. As for Lawrence- ref gave a far less blatant foul seconds later outside the box.

I think the reg got 'that penalty' correct Lawrence tried to con the ref with a double pike with tuck.
I think we got the benefit of the ref's errors yesterday

I've seen those Lawrence handballs given, and I'd have shouted for it if it were in the Watford box. However I'd know it would be harsh if given. My heart didn't skip a beat as it happened.
The trip on Lawrence wasn't given as he tried the old leg tangle trick, it all looked very theatrical and unconvincing. On first watch I thought it was a con. Unfortunately there was no need to play for a penalty as the Watford player had decided to give Lawrence a shove. It was a penalty.
Sure I'm in the minority but the Fuller shove was the only time I yelled for a pen.
