I want to buy a camper van and run off with Dua Lipa. If it stops her singing you go for it

I want to buy a camper van and run off with Dua Lipa. I think your overestimating yourself with the run off there. Kidnapping would be more realistic.

Coldplay, the first headline 5 times proving that Glastonbury is fucking shit! 😒
"Dua Lipa did not come to mess around.
The pop star stormed through her first ever headline slot at Glastonbury with an ambitious and dynamic performance that was stacked with smashes from beginning to end.
She took to the Pyramid Stage shortly after 10pm, opening with a flawless run of five songs: Training Season, One Kiss, Illusion, Break My Heart and Levitating.
Each one had the breathless choreography of an award show performance – and the pace didn’t let up all night.
She played 15 top 40 hits.... "
I turned it off and watched Paul Heaton, I'm so out of touch! 😁

Idles on now - what a noise😎 I thought they were fucking great…politically charged mayhem.A welcome relief to the bland, staged, banal Dua Lipa,as fit as she is,I got the impression she was trying to crate a Glastonbury moment, but it just wasn’t happening.

Day one flicked across a few sets nothing overly exciting but McKeena lad ok, Confidence man a good watch but slightly disappointed with Paul Heaton as i have seen him live several times and his standard and banter usually tops.
Not into to artist who surround themselves with dancers but Dua i managed 5 songs seem to be professional without excitement, Idles i prefer that energy.
On to Day two hope i can find a jewel i have not heard of.

I genuinely thought this thread would turn out to be one of the precious few, a sort of sanctuary if you will.
What a fool 🤦😅

Mrs R made me watch a bit late on last night
Echo some sentiments here - Dua Lipas headline slot was filmed like it was in a nightclub, it was a very clean choreographed act like a TOTP performance
The bit where she started telling her life story, all low key with a posh London accent was weird
Obvs miming quite a lot of it
Lots of happy middle class clappers singing every word - wasnt quite a Lamb of God circle pit but if it made them happy fair enough.
Given all that, she is fit as fuck. So I watched 😂

As Jerry Sadowitz would describe it.
'Middle class wank'.

LCD Soundsystem class as always Felt laboured to me, though it did get better towards the end. Set in 2016 was better imo. Don't think playing in daylight helped.
