Which ones would you go and watch? If they were playing local for example. I honestly wouldn’t pay to watch one single act on that list It's a a scandal.... ...that Sugarbabes are not one of the headliners! In all honesty I agree with you. It seems natural that it's shite though when you look at what music is popular nowadays.

The two main stages are dissapointing yes but look at the West Holts, Woodside and Park stages, the line-ups are absolutely stunning!
Never mind all the new bands you can discover on the smaller stages, that don't even make the official poster.
You can go to Gladtonbury and have the most fantastic festival experience and go nowhere near the two main stages all weekend.

Shania Twain is on the Sunday PM slot so not the same as Macca and Elton. I've always avoided going because of the sheer size. I'd probably hate every minute. I prefer smaller, more niche festivals like End of the Road and Green Man. Oh! my apologies then i presumed she was closing on the Sunday night

You couldn’t pay me to watch that lot let alone remortgage the house to afford to go. Scandalous. I’m sure it’ll be full of middle class, purple haired banner wavers though so all good for the organisers Singing “Oh, Jeremy Corbyn!”

Out of all the list would go to see Paul Heaton although have seen him a few times before. Seen Bloc party years ago and they were class. Other than that it looks mainly shite to me.

Would've been cool to see Little Simz get a headline spot. She's mega-talented.

You’ve got to appreciate that it goes on until 6:00am and if if you are into electronic music, there is absolutely nowhere better in the world. The whole spectacle is just fantastic, everyone’s there with there mates just having a belting time.

For me:
IDLES Sleaford Mods Fontaines DC Justice Nothing But Thieves Yard Act
Then at a push
Bombay Bicycle Club Two Door Cinema Club Bloc Party The National LCD Soundsytem London Grammar
It seem's to me to get poorer & poorer each year. I think their is a lot of politics involved in music especially when it come's to festivals

I prefer smaller, more niche festivals like End of the Road and Green Man. It's the standing a mile back from the stage, coming back to find your tent and belongings gone, not being able to get any sleep, and cubicles splattered with shit that put me off festivals. I'll stick to watching it on the Beeb as usual.

Line up looks quite good to me. I'd be off about around the smaller stages looking for something different. Would love to go one year but doubt it'll happen.

First time I went, you could fit the crowd of the entire site in today's Peel tent (is it still called that?) and weekend admission was about the same price as a pint today! I see Phosphorescent are playing End of the Road, Mike ... nice!😃

Seen them a few times Paul. Not massively overwhelmed by the EOTR bill, particularly the headliners. I may be in for two free tickets again like last year so that would help me decide although my stepson and his girlfirend are going so the other half is definitely up for it. The weather was really good last year and that makes all the difference!!

I wouldn't have Little Simz headlining but she's sure as hell more worthy than Sza.
There's a lot of acts beneath the headliners I like but to have such a dull bunch of headliners is poor.

The weather was really good last year and that makes all the difference!! Many a time I've only made the decision to go to a festival at 24 hours notice based on the weather forecast. The weather has always been more important to me than who's actually playing. Thing is, they all sell out way in advance nowadays, so that kind of scuppers that type of (not) planning.

Glastonbury used to be unique, not anymore, it’s just like all the other shitty festivals but now they’ve also added box ticking and politically correct line ups, it’s ruining the festival circuit! … call me a cliche spewing gammon all you like but it’s wank. Glasto. Yah, yah, yah! Off to Badminton and Ascot afterwards dahling. It's that fucking corporate that Bentley have sent their cars there in the past to ferry the great and the good from their helicopters over the mud and past the oiks. Helps them flog the odd one I guess. It's a sham.

Helps them flog the odd one I guess. It's a sham. Is it bollocks corporate - it's the least corporate festival out there. All the food stalls are small independent caterers and any concessions go to local firms - the festival keeps the local economy alive. The only big names visible on site are charities like Water Aid. As to Hurrah Henry's and Henrietta's those days are long gone. It was part of that circuit in the 90s but that set have moved on to other things. There is a hidden separate road system to ferry the artists to and from the site and the festival site is traffic free apart from a few muddy vehicles for medical emergencies, fixing the site and the shit lorries for the toilets. Bentley's wending their way past the plebs is just bollocks. I'll put money on those doing Glastonbury down have never been and have no intention of going and those defending it are regulars who take very little notice of the headline acts and go because they know there is nothing else like it.

campkerala.com/glastonbury/www.instagram.com/bentleynewsroom/reel/Ct8hv9DPeFR/. "The festival's official luxury vehicle provider". It's an events company that runs the glamping on site. They use the Bentley's to ferry their guests to and from the site. It's part of the marketing for the cars in order to find sales leads. They did Cheltenham last year, The Boat Show, Wimbledon etc all the places where you'd run shoulders with the high rollers. Like Glastonbury is too.
