Such potential......but such a letdown....will he ever come good? How much longer can we wait, another year? It’s been over two years since we seen anything. He’s done at Stoke. And he’ll be off in the summer.

Couldn’t care less.
Let him frustrate another sides fanbase to death.

Such potential......but such a letdown....will he ever come good? Not for us. Did okay yesterday. He’s helped if you don’t ask him to challenge for a header as he will simply just not bother. Does better if you play the ball in front of him but that’s hard when both teams are playing 5 at the back.

No I think he’s shown where he’s at. Even the Campbell Club have stopped defending him now.

He’ll have a new club next season and it’s for the best. He needs a new environment and we need a striker that produces more.
If he choses the right club he may well discover his pre-injury form and be a really good signing for someone but you do wonder if he has the hunger for it. He strikes me as someone who’s already reached where he wants to in his career and is happy enough just picking up a decent wage without having to really exert himself.

Not defending him because he was garbage yesterday, I wanted him to start yesterday, but what a letdown. Nowhere near enough effort and his body language doesn’t do him any favours with the fans.. That said, whacking the ball up to him all game was a complete waste of time, not really sure what team he thinks he’ll be going to, but I’d be staggered if it’s a bigger club than us

That breakaway chance on his right in the first half was abysmal and summed him up for me. He did everything right pace, power and the skill to turn the defender and then ruined it with the weakest 'pass back' with his right peg straight at their keeper.

Too comfortable and always has been. No argument over his talent, but hard work beats talent and that’s not in his locker.

Can anyone ever say that he'd run and challenge like Ennis did yesterday to block that clearance not a chance he's powderpuff and just doesn't care enough.

No I think he’s shown where he’s at. Even the Campbell Club have stopped defending him now. I’ve not stopped defending him. He will rightly leave for pastures new in the summer and I’m disappointed he hasn’t fulfilled his obvious potential here. Was a real threat again yesterday and as he was v Leeds. The criticism, some of it justified, is never anything than way way over the top. He gets blamed for his own shortcomings and those of everyone else.

He played well yesterday. I've stopped thinking he will be a top striker. But yes a decent championship player and was always on the move yesterday. People here are far too critical of him

I’ll give you an example of the bullshit spouted about him. Someone smarter than me will be able to find the thread where I posted it from last season. I specifically watched Campbell in a home game last season after being sick and tired of the usual criticisms. In the 1st half of the particular game I counted 22 runs that he’d made down the sides, across the line or in behind. He received 1 over hit pass that ran through to the keeper. A few minutes later an aimless ball got pumped in towards the right corner flag and he was on shoulder of left sided defender. Ball didn’t run out of play yet Campbell got jeered for not chasing and being lazy 🤷♂️ The lad can’t win no matter what he does. Many years ago, the same was true of Bjarni Gudjohnsson

Middle of the goal, no defender in sight and of all the the players we have, you’d want him on the end of it. His right footed effort was tame I grant you. No comments about the 25 yard sprint and taking on the defender to get the opportunity in the first place though eh??
