numerously slated us and our style of play and RIGHTLY so
it was like watching a pub team
every player running towards the ball after the hoof upfield
no outlets on the wings

He did praise us on the effort to close down opposition. Pity the team can't show that commitment and get into that fookin box when we are attacking. How many times did a cross go into the Watford box today and we had 2 players in there against Watfords 6?

It wasn't pretty but it was a performance full of endeavour and a high work rate - I thought it was a reasonably entertaining game, if not the prettiest. The underhand tactics from Watford to continually block off Sidibe probably were suitably not mentioned by Birtles. That's because people are of the opinion that Boothroyd is a 'talented, forward thinking' manager, yet his team sets up in a very similar way to Stoke.

Oh no, BBM has found his way onto here. Oh well it was good while it lasted. Good point against the league leaders. The quality was poor, and we are much better than what we showed. Could've, and probably should've nicked it, but neither team deserved to lose, and you would've taken the point before kick off.

It just really annoys me when we punt the ball up field for no reason......theres nobody there but yet we still hoof the ball up just for the sake of doing it. Ahhhhhh bring on January

To be honest I didn't feel he singled Stoke out specifically. Seemed to me it was a comment on both teams - lacking width, congesting the play, scared to open up and happy for a point.
He also commented on how Stoke had players on the bench who could change a game, then named Pericard.

How ironic coming from someone calling themselves Boskamplegend- remind us of the score when that tool was in charge v Watford again?
