Thought he was brilliant today.
Put the hard yards in all game and was a large, quick nuisance.
Well done lad!

Definitely by far the hardest worker we've had in that thankless role for years.

Thought he was excellent, never gave their defenders an inch.
Hopefully his first touch gets better as it let him down a few times.

Today showed what we have to do.
We can’t go long and direct down the middle.
Play the ball in the channels and win it high up the pitch.
The front 3 did it excellently.

Can not fault his effort at all and makes a real difference to the tempo of front line.
Ability wise without sounding too critical and harsh I'm really not sure. His first touch isn't great and seems clumsy.

At 24 I'd guess he's running out of time to massively improve first touch. Didn't watch today but he's sounding a bit Jacob Brown, but maybe better suited to the central role?

He lead the press brilliantly, along with Junho. They took a lot of the pressure off our back four thank goodness!

I really like him because he works ever so hard, but still I miss more end product from him. That's why I only gave him a 6 as rating, but I actually think he is our best option up front from what we have to choose from.

I think he is essential for games that we want to play at a relatively high tempo. Out of possession, he doesn’t give defenders a moments rest. Often, that is game changing on its own.

I love how positive he is. Always looking to get a shot off whenever there is a sniff. He should score a few with that attitude.
His workmate, strength and determination are great too.
Must be a nightmare to defend against.

Deserves another goal. Good attitude and an example to others with arguably more ability.

I thought the effort and fight was miles better than I've seen for months if at all this season and I just wonder why the fuck they can't do it every week.

Goes to show that a grafter is far more use to us than someone with 'talent' but no inclination to use it. Played really well. Steal at 500k.

My MOTM along with Million and BAE. Did another of the dirty work. Was nice to see us press as a team as well. Proper team player as well.
That front 3 will do well together and already seem to understand each other.

Hard working players tend to keep improving their touch for quite some time. Walters himself went from having a fairly poor touch to a pretty decent one.

Yet another case of Stoke fans applauding a player who isn’t actually very good but runs around a lot.
This kind of attitude is why we’ll struggle to do anything in this league for the foreseeable.
Yes he did a job today but come on, he’s not very good is he.

Perfectly fine as back up if we stay up and sack the problem children off.

His first touch isn't great and seems clumsy. Yeah i must say I'm quite surprised by this thread. There were so many fantastic performances today but I thought Ennis was bloody useless. His touch and composure was dire. Couldn't trap a fart. That said, as highlighted, he worked hard and pressed. Needs to do more for me ability wise to justify a place next season.
