I have no idea how Sohail got the gig, in that I don't know the process, but having met him and listened to his progression over the season I think he's getting there. He could do with being a bit more concise and to the point but he's a nice bloke. I think he's understanding what Stoke is about. He sounds East.Mids way? Any idea who his team is? |

Sohails ace, his knowledge & love of football & his work prep before a match is meticulous.. He truly appreciates how lucky he is to be able to work and commentate on a sport he loves so much. He's definitely getting Stoke City, Stoke Fans, Stoke-On-Trent and The Potteries. Which would have taken time for anyone from outside the area to get to know and used to. Sohails from the South East & supports a lower league club from the South London area. He often covers London Premier League or WSL matches on 5Live on a Sunday after Stoke match on the Saturday so catches a train back to the Capital. |
