Baker is doing well to get forward and back to help Pearson noticeable difference today with his efforts. Pearson is doing much better also getting the basics done.

Poor half from a “team” full of strangers.
I think Laurent has done okay overall. Better than most of his games. Hopefully, he’ll get a bit of form together. Is great on the rare occasion that he can be bothered.

considering the team we've done a good job at completely nullifying Coventry, hopefully that was the plan to frustrate and keep it tight, go in at HT withough conceeding then we can make some changes and bring on the firepower and creativity... Burger for Laurent, Ennis for Lowe etc

Even big Wes can hold it up pin the defenders and bring in the midfielders. It’s all opinions I get that. But I just don’t see him leading the line in a 1 up front. |

Lots of effort and work rate.
Relatively solid defensively (apart from that goal mouth madness in the first ten minutes 😂).
However, no real goal threat.
We are where we are. We need to grind out some results and that is what we are trying to do today.
You have to worry that if Coventry score first then it is game over.

The reality is that Coventry visit us as clear favourites, and the manager has picked a team to show heart, grit and determination. That's exactly what they have done, and we can't ask much more than that if we're in a relegation battle. 11 men who give a toss. Pulis-esque, as above.

0.12 xG at home, almost non-existent goal threat, and should really be 1-0 down.
