I hope he does well.
He cracked here and you could see it on his face very soon after joining.
The Southampton appointment was ludicrous.
Charlton is a good chance to get what looked a promising career in management back on track.
Absolutely no ill feeling on my part.
Can't help but think Schumacher should have heeded the warning.

He certainly tried his best. He just completely lost the plot very early on and looked ill in his final few months here.
I'm slightly worried SS is looking the same already. Gone is the bright eyed, wide smiled man we employed, replaced by a pale, shattered looking bloke.

what the odds that he is shouting at a empty training pitch the players are refusing to come out of the dressing room!

Certainly don't wish him any harm but I'm surprised to see a few wishing him well. The bloke is an egotistical maniac in my book.

Cue significant upturn in fortunes at Charlton.....I reckon he will do well there due to a bit of history with the club and so brings familiarity.

Some clubs never learn.
Charlton nailed on for relegation for L2 and lower, the longer they stick with him.

Some clubs never learn. Charlton nailed on for relegation for L2 and lower, the longer they stick with him. None of the clubs Jones managed have been relegated while he was in charge. You could say some were relegated as a result of his management before he was sacked, but you could just as easily say that Luton were promoted after he left but as a result of his work prior to leaving.

He sleeps with it, talks to it, has his meals with it, he’s even got a specially made peephole bra and panties for it. In all seriousness I wish him well, he clearly became unhinged when he was with us and it wasn’t pleasant to see

You could say some were relegated as a result of his management before he was sacked, but you could just as easily say that Luton were promoted after he left but as a result of his work prior to leaving. The reason for that is because both ourselves and Southampton came to our senses before relegation was officially confirmed - and, in our case, we had a miracle performed by MON. And Luton were mid-table when he left, Rob Edwards took them up another level in my opinion. The nutty dwarf is nothing but a fraud and a chancer - Charlton already have enough issues to deal with never mind a delusional tosspot who believes his own hype, even though he has been found to be a laughing stock everywhere bar Luton.

You can't prove that he wouldn't have found the golden road...

You couldn't fault his enthusiasm and others have failed here. Its always easy to blame the manager but look what has to select from, not inspiring.
