As long as Blackburn don't sack their manager we will be at them.

Blackburn beat us 3-0 at home but have hit a major dip in form since, an early goal for them & they win the game, They will know that. It’s got a 2-0 home win written all over it. (With 29 Stoke attempts hitting my living room window)

Don’t see us getting anything there. They lost to QPR yesterday there is no way the will want to lose against two relegation rivals on the bounce. We’ll be an easier prospect with our shambolic defence. The only thing I’m mildly looking forward to is seeing these hyped up Dutch signings. However, following on from the way things are going for us, as soon as they pull the red and white on I’ve no doubt they will perform like a pair of drunken sailors on shore leave. Who are 'they' ? Isn’t it obvious?

Manager offers to resign.
Balls up on paperwork means missed player signing.
List at home to QPR.
Here comes the Charity bus.

And some plums on this board insist that the family need removing. Incredible. This kind of attitude is just weird. Do we just have to accept a shit football forever because there are some dodgy owners out there? Look at what the Hull and Birmingham owners are doing for their clubs. Only Venkys are out there don't you know 😉

If these club is crisis stories are true, it wouldn’t matter if we got Messi, Haaland and Bastoni in on emergency loans, we’re Stoke City and we are the charity.

Think he's got to adopt a wing back system though and have Thommo in the middle.

I'm also unsure if Gooche is a better option than McCarron at left back right now, but no more Thompson there for me. Pearson seems so out of form I can't pick him. Please!!!! Don't start with Cundle!!!! Guess Mmaee is out of the question, but who knows what is going on? With the 3 up top + Junho we have added all the pace we have I feel, and hopefully that will be enough. From Burger (inc) going forward that doesn’t look bad but those behind him, Junior apart, it really is shit your pants time.

Great time to play Rovers. The manager very clearly doesn't want to be there and you can't really blame him with the absolute shit show they have going on behind the scenes.
They've had issues with transfers not being completed in the past because of failed paperwork and it looks like they've cocked up again. They even stopped the manager from speaking to the media so looks like there's potentially been a fall out as well.
Ones to watch: Sammie Szmodics - League top scorer, playing more advanced, but was very poor last game and may even be injured as he limped off.
Sam Gallagher - 2 in 2 for him, always works hard, Rovers look a better team when he's playing. He's tall, but not as great in the air as you'd think.
Rankin-Costello - Full back that likes to get forward. Only just came back from injury recently, but JDT might set up with a 3 at the back where he will have permission to get further up the field and cause problems which he certainly can do.
Defensively Rovers are a shambles and have been brutally exposed from set-pieces. They've brought in Connor O'Riordan 6'6 and Kyle McFadzean who should bolster their aerial issues, however they didn't play on Saturday. Whether that was a message to the people behind the scenes that he didn't get the players he wanted, or it was merely just tactical decisions.
As I said. This is a great time to play Rovers as they are on the ropes and don't look like they have any fight in them. I hope Niall Ennis gets one over on them!

I reckon Tomasson might purposely throw the game just to force the issue.....weird I know but nothing surprises me these days.
Dare I say it a scrappy 1-0 away win...?

High press with lots of energy from the beginning. Make them make mistakes. Most Championship teams are crap on the ball.
Let’s just go at them. Don’t try to pass it into the box, shoot from outside it occasionally just to keep them guessing.

Don’t try to pass it into the box, shoot from outside it occasionally just to keep them guessing. You should always take the occasional long range shot in this league as the majority of keepers are poor, that’s why I think Baker should play especially as we’re struggling to score any other way. Burger can hit them too but hasn’t been doing it enough lately.

Chatting to a Blackburn fan this morning and it’s clear they’re really not a happy camp.
Rumours of a fallout between the board and manager, best player sold on deadline day, new centre forward currently ineligible due to a paperwork error.
This is a great time to be playing them.
We have to get at them and make them uncomfortable. We need to see Schumacher’s “non-negotiables” delivered on. Pass forward, run forward, play with intensity.
We need three actual forwards in the front three and Bae in the side. If Schumacher can’t see that for this one after his safety first approach backfired massively on Saturday I’ll really start to doubt his judgment.

At the moment when we're not scoring I feel like Baker should be playing majority of games, we may only get one chance per game at the moment and that might be a penalty or a free kick, and there is only one player who i'd feel any degree of hope scoring (hoping Million might bring a bit of scoring swag too fingers crossed).

The old 'pressed the wrong button' excuse. No leg to stand on imho, would open a massive can of worms if an exception was to be granted.

It's really difficult setting a team up now, with the new lads and the sulkers out in the cold. I'll have a go: .............Iversen............. ...Hoever....McNally....Wilmot... Junior...Cundle...Burger..Meinhof ........Ennis........Bae......... ...............Lowe..............
Maaayyybe swap Leris for Lowe and then put Ennis up front.
or .............Iversen............. Junior....Wilmot...Rose....Hoever .............Burger.............. .........Cundle....Bae........... ..Leris......Ennis......Million..Neither fills me with confidence, but I'm not sure we could do better.
