I really struggle to think of another player who was a one-man attack like Fuller. It's impossible to overstate his importance, to the point that the decision to let him go was the beginning of the end for Pulis. He didn't need service; he was the service. He was also the goalscorer, the maverick and the winner of the vital set pieces that we thrived on.
Honestly, I was hoping Mmaee was in the same mould but it doesn't look like it.

Prime Ric in the BMX days has us top 6. If only if he had been fit to play, and in his prime, in the FA Cup Final! If any Stoke player was capable of a goal fit for that stage it was Fuller. Believe he delivered a rousing speech ahead of the semi final against Bolton. No doubt that he would have revelled in both those games… In a flash, the first FA Cup Final in 148 years is now one appearance in 161 years. Such a shame that a number of players were either not available for or played with injuries in that match.

His goal against W Sham away was pure class. Had it been Ronaldo or Messi they would still be showing it on TV to this day⚓

If I had a father for Mount Rushmore its Ric no question , he simply lit up the stadium , he is one of three players in my lifetime who could get you on your feet , who set a feeling of expectation whenever they had the bal Hudson and to a very slightly lesser extent Arnie being the other.
The interesting thing is all three as well as brilliant football all three bought a unique charachter to the team .

With respect to Ric I think that JGreenhoff was a more accomplished player. Does that make me racist.😧

Was amazed it wasn't included in this compilation, to be honest. It’s because the title on the video is misleading. It’s not his “top 37” goals for Stoke, it’s his first 37 goals in chronological order, IE all his goals from the 2006/07 to 2008/09 seasons.
