A solid 8, we could be beating teams that limited more convincingly.
But good strong progress

7
Take the brilliant goal out if it and not great but away win at a tough enough place of late

Dominated the game without any cutting edge. Not the managers fault. Good 3 points. 9

7 Take the brilliant goal out if it and not great but away win at a tough enough place of late That's like saying take our keeper out of it and they should have won or tie Bakers laces together and he would have never scored. We scored a worldy Vidigal had 3 very good chances against a physical and defensive side away from home limited them to 0 shots on target. Gouranga.

Has to be a 9 - this is exactly the sort of game where we would have had our pants pulled down over the last few years, especially under the bald Scottish tosser, but he set us up well, limited them to virtually nothing off the set pieces that they tend to be rather effective at, motivated us to match them in terms of work-rate which allowed us to let one moment of quality win us the match. Subs were spot on - Leris provided an outlet at a point when they were looking to pin us in, Campbell offered a threat on the break and Pearson came on to lock down the midfield. You can see his enthusiasm and influence is clearly rubbing off on his players, and we are already showing clear progression on developing an identity and becoming a coherent unit.
In Schumi we trust.

10 from me. Away win from a manager who apparently couldn’t win away from home.

No it isn't We created very little and he had 1 good chance which was off target . Did we work their keeper apart from the goal...no . Hard team to beat at home so good result.

20 Didn't care about performance - we were in a scrap before he came - hit a little bit of form and new manager bounce since his arrival - another 3pts today was a must to give us a bit of breathing space and keep the confidence going. Baker coming back and looking good could be like a new signing - if we can keep him, a window to improve further and other players coming back from injury - feel good factor coming back, a few easy games coming up - what could go wrong

We didn't have enough shots but their keeper did make a decent enough save at the end from Videgal after good work from Campbell and he tipped over a rasper from Videgal first half Obviously you want more but there you are

As I said earlier - there are no easy matches in this league, especially away. Rotherham was a physical team, but we were not bullied into submission and defeat today. An away-win is great and a clean sheet makes it even better. I'm torn between 8 and 9 so 8.5 it is.

Certainly move the ball quicker but when they closed us down today we gave it away too easily which was the reason we created next to nothing.

8 - Tough game. They worked really hard. If he can get more out of the forwards I will be extremely happy.

8 great result, need more goals in the team but giant strides of improvement, we look so so much better. Thought second half was iffy but i thought it was a good away win.

7 - we weren't especially good, but they had nothing of note and felt we controlled it without ever being that dangerous. you can see the patterns of play that we wants though,

Another good 8 from me. He's growing on me but he's got to sort out our forwards actually scoring from open play. Let's see what he does about that.
