Confident for this one even allowing for a probable Clucas goal
Assuming no Stephens, Gooch and possibly Rose out too would go to a back four with Thompson at left back

I’m presuming Leris will be out. If he isn’t he’d start ahead of Hoever.
Iversen
Hoever Wilmot McNally Thompson
Burger Baker Bae
Vidigal Mmaee Haks

3 points and nothing less hopefully. 1 point would be ok..... but we need to start picking up wins again.

Big game Saturday! Under Neil you could have guaranteed a loss but I just can’t see it under this new gaffer.
Bonham Hoever Wilmot Rose Thompson Burger Cundle Baker Vidigal Mmaee Bae
He may go with Iverson as the new number one now but bit harsh on Bonham, Pearson will probably play instead of Baker or Cundle if fit

You think this would have been a guaranteed loss under Neil? We've beaten them twice this season with a goal difference of 10-2.

How many tickets have we sold? I know we sold the initial allocation but not sure if we were given more.

Iversen
Hoever Wilmot Rose
Thompson Burger Baker
Bae Cundle Mmaee
Campbell
Lots of floating and linking going on. I am not sure he really does proper formations as such. Thompson can become your left back, Hoever plays as he did against Brighton, and the top 4 interchange.

Is Campbell training again? www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-injury-news-rotherham-9021061Tyrese CampbellStriker, aged 24, hasn't played since scoring in a 2-1 defeat at Schumacher's Plymouth in early December but returned to training last Thursday and should come into contention for the Rotherham match. "It was good to have him back," said Schumacher on Thursday afternoon. "It was his first session with the group so it’s probably too soon for him to be involved for the weekend but he looked nice and sharp. We’ll build him up over the next few days and hopefully get him prepared for Rotherham."

Yes both played in August I know that mate. I misread the posts and thought it was Somerset saying we were guaranteed a loss whereas he was responding to the OP. Doh! My bad. As the kiddies say.

Iverson Hoever Wilmot McNally Thompson Burger Cundle Bae Campbell Mmaee Haks Some might argue that Luke doesn’t deserve a start after his Brighton debacle, but unless he’s on the right of a three he can be left exposed. Back in a CB pairing, I think he’s better. Up front, Hakš and Campbell should be inverted behind Mmaee.

Subs from: Bonham, McNally, Hoever, Pearson, Thompson, Cundle, Haksa, Wes.

Iverson Hoever Wilmott Rose Thompson Cundle Burger Bae Leris Mmaee Vidigal
McNally had a mare against Brighton and has made a few mistakes recently. I think some of the reaction on here has been over the top (prior to the last few games he's been fine) but I think he needs a rest - which was probably the plan in the cup game before the injury. To be honest any combination of Wilmott, Rose and McNally makes me nervous - there isn't a leader amongst them and they all have a mistake in them. Having said that I think any of them would be fine alongside a solid, experienced CB.
Schumacher seems to like Leris (who has been very unlucky with his head injuries) and he gets the best out of Hoever going forward.
It will be interesting to see whether Bae and Cundle as 8s with Burger nominally sitting is what Schumacher is thinking as the way forward, especially with the rumour that we are looking at offers for Pearson, Johnson and Baker.
