My first away day in 90? 0-0 under Ball Only thing I remember from that dump is the alleyway to/from the away end and then their lads always trying to have a pop outside the pub on the corner just after you’d walked out of it and turned right. Shit hole. As for the football, I’ve seen a mixed bag of a win, a draw and a few thrashings. Not the best place for us tbh. Hopefully change a week Saturday.

The new ground is miles better than ours. The away concourse makes the boothen concourse an embarrasment..forget the "fanzone shit" and give us a concourse thats useable!!

Our concourses have to be the worst amongst the "new wave" of Stadia. They need completely revamping, I'd tear down all the existing kiosks and start again afresh.

There's no excuses really with the Boothen and JSL to do that and expand where there's room behind the stand. The Sentinel Stand could/would be an issue though I think. I just don't think there's room to do what would be needed?

I just don't think there's room to do what would be needed? It would maybe entail building over the path creating a walkway similar to other grounds like old trafford, how expensive or possible that would be I don't know. If expansion is out the question in the sentinel stand then I don't see why they can't still tear down the kiosks and create better versions, the current one's are so outdated and not fit for purpose.

I just think you need the space and new kiosks. It's chaos in there even with the current crowd levels. And the bank behind seems as unstable as ever, that path down from the statue to Ricardo's is just getting more and more like the closing scenes of Titanic

Expense should not be an issue. Ground improvement is a capital investment and does not appear on the P&L account except as depreciation over the next 30 to 50 years.
