7 from me tried to win the game positive subs at the right time, just couldn't get past the Milwall brick wall. Gouranga.

Early second half subs were a shock to the system. Long may it continue. Clearly didnt like what he was seeing and didn't wait till 85 minutes to change it. Positive start but he now knows we need some reinforcements in January.

7. Loses points for not starting with Jnr and Bae and letting Hoever take the corners.

7 looks about fair. Limited with what he could change to a certain degree and hopefully he’s learned more about where our squad is.
Hopefully Hoever, Leris, Johnson and Vidigal are swapped out, or perhaps even a change of formation. Not sure a front 3 works for us, especially at home.

Right subs at right time. 8
Now that he’s seen a few of the players with his own eyes (Hoever, JOHNSON, Leris in particular) hopefully we see much less of them. I get the impression that Hoever’s loan deal is one that would cost us far more if he didn’t play, but there’s no excuses for Johnson starting games.

No new manager bounce or impetus.
Average League One coach.

8 Livened us up with his half time team talk but it is very difficult to polish a turd. Maybe he will have a better understanding of what is needed for Tuesday.

4 No new manager bounce or impetus. Average League One coach. You know this after he's had one game in charge and three days with the squad?

Positive approach and formation. Great subs.
Most of the players are league one at best. Forwards in particular should take a long look at themselves as it was embarrassing. It’s not SS’s fault they can’t cross, pass in the final third or shoot.

4 No new manager bounce or impetus. Average League One coach. Have to disagree the players looked alot more attack minded and positive especially second half and don't forget these are the same players who were mundane and clueless and he has had 3 days probably not even that taking in all the media duties he has had to perform a good solid 7.5 from me hopefully more positive and more what he wants as games go by.

4 No new manager bounce or impetus. Average League One coach. You know this after he's had one game in charge and three days with the squad? Of course I do... If Steven had got something about him though that team would have given an extra 20% today. New manager bounce syndrome. It was as tame and insipid as the last few games under AN. Let's see what happens against Ipswich and I will hopefully change my mind. That said.. this squad is a steaming pile of shite and I don't envy his task at all. (Well I do actually if I was being paid that much).

Today simply showed the core issue is the players at the top end of the pitch are absolutely clueless at this level and that sits absolutely at the door of Martin and Jared , the fact Martin has extended his influence after his abject failure with everything he’s touched is mind boggling , a team with todays forward Line gets relegated no matter who the manager .

Good proactive subs though.

Too early to really judge but based on today:
5 still toothless. Wasn’t afraid to make subs early on. Team trying stupid passes too often when there was an easier option on. I get he’s trying to be positive which is exactly what we need but naive in the execution.

4 No new manager bounce or impetus. Average League One coach. Really? I think it far too early to judge and also you're asking an awful lot of a guy in the job for what - three days at a push? I will readily admit that I saw nothing today that I haven't seen in abundance before over the last 16 months and suspected what was coming when the team was announced. I rather think Gallagher had a lot to do with that team selection and Schumacher will need some time to adapt and try and make the best from an unbalanced squad in which many are not of the required standard, either in terms of ability and/or attitude. So I'd suggest we might wait a while before making such brash statements as yours.

7 from me. He will have learned far more from this drab result than if we'd won 4-0. Nothing like a bit of reality to bring him down to earth.
