If I had the inclination to vote I'd have gone for a poster capable of original thought like either Potterlog or that spawn of the devil poster, lilfraise. Posters who are articulate and intelligent. I can never understand rudeness, condescending posting, abrasive posting, bullying posting, etc life's far too short and the majority of the people on here are here for shits and giggles and a bit of light relief away from the realities and hardships of the real world. It's a very small pond we're fishing in here but big enough for everyone if we're sensible. I'm sure that you're more than capable of getting the most intelligent poster award if you work on your delivery perhaps a New Year's resolution is in order. Have a look at how Redwhitenblue glides effortlessly over these pages making hard points with a certain charm and humour. You never know you're an old dog but there might be some new tricks to learn. Here's a stat for you. - Of those who found him most intelligent - half of them thought Badger was poster of the year. Could those three who voted for Badger and Felonicous be duplicate accounts of the pair? Should we null those votes due to voter fraud? I'm more worried about which two voted for Wannabee. If lamping means what it means where I'm from then I'd only be comfortable if we had Foster and Prestwich with us. I have no idea what lamping means but when I was younger it meant getting punched. However since you mention pressers then it likely involves a gentle grazing palm on the cheek and a few hundred handbags flying around. Lamp the ball was a huge clearance out of defence at school ...anywhere will do. |
